Have you watched a movie so confusing yet you understand it? HAHA! Yes, confusing because of the technical terms but you understand it because of the flow of the story.

Just watched a twin movie called To All of You That I Loved and To the Only Me Who Loved You.

We first watched the Pink one. The story goes with their childhood lovey-dovey puppy love. Shiori is the love interest of Koyomi. They wanted to get married but it would be weird because their parents are also will get married. Kinda incest~

There is another sorry for the dog or the grandpa dying. Choose your universe. What struck me the most was the scene when Koyomi said sorry to his grandpa when he said he hated him. He said that because he knows that grandpa will die.

Okay, so the girl died of a car running over her. Now she is the ghost on the pedestrian's crossing. Koyomi was so eager to save her by looking for a parallel universe where the accident will never happen, but the only situation that can save her is the universe where they will never meet and will never know each other. The Pink one ended when Koyomi set his watch to 10 AM on the crossing location on a specific date.

It was an overkill analysis and emotional roller coaster, so we decided to watch the other one the next day.

The Blue one is mostly the later life of Koyomi from an adult to an old man. He is with another girl which he first met in school. This girl is different from Shiori. She has a big personality, while Koyomi in this universe is passive. They also become co-researchers for the Imaginary Science Research. Cut a long story short, they ended up together. The girl really liked Koyomi. She said that she did not really like the research about multiverse but she got no choice because they are already there and just go with the flow. Deep in her heart, she did not like Koyomi to meet Shiori ever again.

So, yeah, the ending depends on what movie you watch first. I really like the animation and storyline. And, wow, the movies were animated by two studios. So expect a slight difference in the coloring and style.
