Here are the tips that you can apply for you to get over of some negative feelings;
1.) Focus on the Good Things. Disappointment, anger, loneliness, sadness, unsatisfied are feelings that we commonly feel when something happens wrong. When you faced one of them, don’t feel bad and don’t bring yourself down. Think of the things that makes you happy and cherish them all. Not because you suffer such thing, your not going to step forward again and you will stop fighting. Life is too short, don’t let sadness and failures shallow our dreams and happiness. Focus on the good things that happens in your life and make it as your inspiration to success.
2.) Be Thankful. Being thankful of everything is a good thing you should always do. It can help you reduce your stress, and improve your self-esteem and foster resilience at hard times. If you’re not feeling well of something, remember those people who always believe on you and those moments you spend good times together, and how they lift you up. Pull some of your strength from them and use it to develop yourself more confident and build yourself better and better. Remember that, in every mistakes that we made, there is always a lesson that could give us the courage to fight and keep going.
3.) Keep a Journal. When you face such a challenging situation, don’t forget to take down notes of its events that you have encountered, whether it is good or bad. Writing notes of your wonderful experience can help you boost your sense and optimism of a person as a whole. Try to practice gratitude at least once a day.
Turning back to your old experiences by reading the notes that keep will keep you inspired every. Because in every experience, there is a corresponding memories that will make us laugh and courage.
4.) Open-mindedness or Acceptance. Try to open your mind no matter what the things is, try to accept failure or loss. The more you accept things the more you will be granted, but the more you complain the more it will be complicated for you to accomplish the task, and as a result, you will suffer much pain and disappointment to yourself. When it happens, you will loss your confidence and trust.
Other people say, “Laughter is the best medicine of all the pain that we suffer”. This means, when you get out of the balance, stand up again and make a big smile. Smiling in times of hardships can help you gain power to keep inspiring those people who watch and over you. In this kind of situation, it will not just you, who is learning from it, but it's also the people who believe on your ability and skill. And being an inspiration to the people you love, can make you stronger and ever.
5.) Surround yourself with Positive people. Negativity and Positivity are partners. Always stand to choose the people who will always give you a positive vibes and raise you up, and not those people who will just critic and judge you if you committed a mistake. Example; when your falling apart because of something that happens on your day don’t go and seek an advise to those who will just critic you and make negative comments about you, choose to stay with the people who always believe on you and push you up. Being surrounded by positive people can make more comfortable, and help you improve your self-esteem and increase the chances of pursuing your goals. They will always help to see the bright side of life.
6.) Practice Self-talk. Doing Self-talk sometimes when you feel a bad day, and there’s no one wants to listen is a best way in coping up with a stress and depression. Well, talking to yourself can make you balance and calculate things, it will help you determine what will you do next at the next step of your life. It also helps you realize your mistakes and what are your defections-if where did you get wrong and why is this happen. After knowing those things, of course you will feel better, and think of the other way on how you will achieve it or get it successfully.
7.) Identify negative things on you. Take down or list down those things that you tend to be the most negative. Asking your most trusted friends can help you get some information in which you are mostly negative. It'll help you determine which part of your doings are negative. Then, try to analyze their opinions and give your own conclusions about it. Do it one at a time.
8.) Start you every day Positive Notes. Start writing those positive things happening in your life. Taking down notes of it can make you make a concrete conclusions of how life is going. It will help a lot to relieve your stress capacity and lessen your feeling of disappointments to your own self.
