Trust in a relationship
Good morning guys, how are you doing today? I trust that you're doing very great. Let's quickly review yesterday's article.
Thoughts are things we'll keep having every day of our lives until we bid this earth goodbye, therefore it's good to think only good thoughts and delete bad thoughts because our thoughts determines our actions. Even the Bible encourages and commands us to think only about things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent and worthy of praise. And also that we should think about the things that are worthy of devotion and perseverance, it is found in Philippians 4 verse 8.
We should not allow our hearts and minds stay on thoughts that are sinful and ungodly. Instead we need to allow the Holy Spirit dwelling in us control our thoughts and shut down the wrong thoughts by His power.
We've concluded that having bad thoughts is not good, how then do we take captive every bad thought to make it obedient to Christ and think only good thoughts? One way wrong thoughts comes to us is by what we look at. When you look at something that arouses lust in your heart, you'll start thinking lustful thoughts unconsciously. Also what you hear, if you keep listening to the wrong things, you'll start to think of the wrong things unconsciously.
Our thoughts look like they are insignificant and harmless, but they matter because they control what we do and say. If you don't shut down the wrong thoughts, you'll soon see yourself act them out.
What do you do when the bad thoughts come, do you take them into captive and immediately reoriente your thinking to what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely commendable, excellent, or worthy of praise or you allow the bad thoughts to stay around and gain ground in your heart.
The Bible says that one way to guard our hearts from wrong thoughts is by meditating on His Word (Psalm 119:9).
Make sure you think the right things, it'll help you to go forward in life.

Trust in a relationship is something that takes time to build, but can be lost in a moment. Honesty will help grow your character and allow both parties in the relationship to continuously think about their choices and how they can help their partner and their relationships.
Honesty creates character in a relationship. I know it’s easier said than done, but you have to be honest with your partner, and most importantly, yourself.
People would rather be lied to for convenience than the truth because honesty is uncomfortable. But in the long run, lying to yourself and others will always come back and bite you in the end.
Trust is tough to build, especially if you’ve had past relationships in your life. However, without trust, there is no relationship. A relationship built on trust can be tested at any point by the smallest actions, but it will only strengthen in time.
People try to build trust based on honesty, but honesty doesn’t build trust. Honesty is the consequence of trust. If you don’t give 100% in your relationships, you will always assume your partner isn’t giving 100% either. If you want your relationships to be built on trust, you have to be a participating factor in that.
Honesty grows your character with your partner. By being honest in relationships, you’re holding your partner accountable to do the same. It allows both you and your partner to continuously think about your choices and how you can help your partner and your relationship.
Thanks for reading through. I hope loved it.
