Today is Sunday

Good afternoon friend. Hope you are having a great day? I am having a great day as well.

Yesterday being Saturday was a day filled with so much activities for me. I went for a meeting in preparation for a program coming up next week Sunday. I was tired yesterday but thank God the today is Sunday, so I have the opportunity to rest well before next week work start. Before I continue, I'll like to thank some very important people.

I'm going to be writing about today's sermon in church. So stay with me

So today is Sunday and also the last day of the month, so many churches will have a great time of praise to thank God for the month. The message was on the showers of blessing and the second coming of Christ. I'll sharing what was taught in church with you, so stay with me.

S- Surety of His second coming

The second coming of Jesus has been doubted by a number of people because they've been hearing that He'll come back since when the little and now they're adults but it doesn't look like Christ is or will come. Nevertheless, it's made clear and certain that Jesus will come back. No matter how wlong it takes, it is sure that He'll come again. So, you believer, do not allow doubts or discouragement from the devil telling you that Christ won't come again. He'll come again very soon.

H- Holiness for His second coming

For those of us who believe that He'll come again, we should ensure that we continue to live the Holy life by the help of the Holy Spirit in us, and not allow our garments stained. O that when He comes, we'll not be found wanting.

O- Overcomers at His coming

Only the overcomers will be raptured at His coming. It is written in different places in the book of revelation that he who overcomes will receive a crown of glory. Therefore, we must by the spirit of God never give up but press on unto the end. Because only in that will we be counted worthy for the crown of glory which the overcomers will have.

W- Watchfulness for His second coming

It is of essence we must watch, we must watch out for the devil's tactic to make us fall and keep us on the floor. Tye bible says that we must not be ignorant of the devices of the devil. We must watch an pray lest we fall into temptation that'll lead to us missing the rapture.

E- Established for His second coming

For those that are just getting born again and those who are still rising and falling or still susceptible to one sin or the other. We should cry out to God to help us to be established and not tossed to and fro by the winds of sins and flesh, so that on that day we'll not be found in sin.

R- Readiness for His coming

In all things, we must live everyday like He'll be coming that day so that by having this mindset, we'll always be ready fo His coming and not be found wanting.

S- Suddenness of His coming.

Jesus said it Himself that the day and the hour no one knows except the Father, so His coming will be sudden, therefore we must be prepared for the coming the Lord.

I pray that God will help us to be prepared and ready in Jesus name. Amen
