Yesterday was a very memorable day in the history of Nigeria, that marked the first memorial held in tribute to the heroes that died during the endsars protest that held at Lekki in the year 2020.

Today, I'll be continuing with the second stanza. So let's go now.
Oh God of creation, direct our noble cause
A cry to the God who created all things, for directions. A cry to God to direct our noble cause. The noble cause is that we be bound together as a nation in freedom, peace and unity. As long as we remain bound in these, there will continue to be a forward movement in all the endeavours of the nation.
Guide our leader’s right
Our cry oh God is that you guide our leaders right. We know you're willing to guide as many that come to you for guidance. So in review of this verse of the anthem, we cry that you give us leaders that'll ask you for guidance and follow the guidance you give them. For even if they ask you for guidance but do not put it to use, it is like putting water into a basket, it'll be wasted.
Help our youth the truth to know
The youths are the future of the country. And as it has always been said the primary school days that we're the leaders of tomorrow. We ask that you grant the youth access to the truth only. It takes the youth that knows the truth to communicate it and work on it when they come into power. That every outlet of falsehood and lie be shutdown, oh God.

When the leaders live and grow in love and honesty, the lives of the citizens will be of utmost importance to the leaders. Honesty is something scarce among those in power, they've used their position of power to gather riches to themselves falsely. They hoard riches even to the fourth generation of their unborn children. They call it the national cake which everyone has to take a share from. If only they sit and think on this verse.
And living, just and true
Everyone knows that to get someone just and true among the leaders we have now is very much impossible, because the decadence started from when they started to contest for position. Even the person that comes into power just, only needs to be stained once, and that marks the end of the journey of that person being just. Even if he tries to be just, he's blackmailed by the people he dined with that stained his integrity leaving him with no option than succumbing to being unjust and false to the people he swore his allegiance to.
Great lofty heights attain
Ir is certain that if our leaders will stay just, honest and true. The nation will attain great lofty heights. But we have few who have the intentions of staying just without getting stained because it only takes been stained once to loose the trust the citizens have in you.
To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign.
And finally, if the leaders live as it is captured in the national anthem, a nation will be built where peace and justice will be ruling power. If justice reigned in Nigeria, those that orchestrated the massacre of the protest would have been brought to book. But instead, the government has hidden in denial of the killings. If justice reigned, the innocent lives killed would have been avenged for already by the arm of the law. If justice reigned, the captured Boko Haram members would have faced the full wrath of the law instead of the forgiveness the government said they had on them even with the havoc they had caused in the country.
Conclusions:
I hope that one day 20-10-2020 becomes our democracy day in honor of the heroes lost on that day.
A new Nigeria will emerge and a new breed will take over power, a new breed that will serve the people in love and honesty. And peace and justice will reign once again in Nigeria✊✊
