Good afternoon readstars like @FarmGirl would say. I'm late today in publishing my article. I've been very busy today, running errands for my dad. It's worth it anyway.
Today I'll be writing on something that is very important for everyone to pay attention to. But before I proceed, I'll like you to answer the following questions with all sincerity in your heart.
1. Do you have a thankful heart?
2. Do you thank God for all He has done?
3. Do you even do that consciously?
4. Do you take out time to intentionally thank and praise God?
Having answered the questions, let's proceed.
Thanksgiving and appreciation are some of the attributes that cannot be found in man because since the fall of man, man has always had this inclination to self which has made it alien for a man to appreciate or thank another man because it's not one of his nature.
Everyone should and must learn the art of appreciating both others and God. This is a kind of attitude worthy of practice and emulation. Appreciation can really take you places.
Appreciation is not status or age bound, we are meant to appreciate every human we come across no matter how little or insignificant they might be to you. It starts by simply making sure you say 'thank you'. You not be too big or entitled to say thank you. Even in situations where what you recieved is your right, please still say thank you.
As a parent, you're trying to teach your child to be grateful, start by thanking that for errands you send him/her, even though it's your right to send him/her on errands. You're trying to make the child understand that it is very necessary and courteous to say thank you, irrespective of the person or the situation. If you're portray a good example for the child, it becomes a habit for the child to say thank you to others.

A man with an appreciative spirit is a man with a good conduct and attitude. An appreciative spirit always attract additional blessings, favour and benefits. It is of importance that everyone both believers and unbelievers know and develop this attitude till it becomes a way of life and habit because with it, we respond to the love ad kindness of others, and also including God’s kindness and goodness in our lives and families.
No matter what point or situation you are in life, there is always something to be grateful for to God.
Firstly, for the gift of life. The gift of life is so underrated, only a person in the hospital using oxygen will fully understand how much of value this our natural oxygen has. It is very easy to forget the gift of life, because it feels like a normal thing to wake up the next morning, but it is by the mercies of God we see the next morning.
Also never forget how He deliverance you from the foolishness, pain, sorrow and negative effects of the sinful life, if not for Jesus, you'll still be under the authority of the devil and sin.
Also freedom from the works and afflictions of the evil one, if not for God you might have been seriously dealt with by the forces of darkness.
You should also never forget the times He answered your prayers even in times of pain, sorrows, sickness, trouble, and fear.
Above all,the presious salvation from eternal damnation in the lake of fire should immediately cause an immediate gratitude from the inside of our hearts to the great God.
What can we even say of the wonders of His power which is visibly seen in all of His creation? Everything that makes up the whole universe, are under His control.
The psalmist in the bible is a very good example of someone who praised God at all times, notwithstanding the situation or circumstance. He always praised God. Scattered throughout the book of Psalms are the praises of God and declarations of His love and wonders.
Conclusions:
We should daily have a detailed check of all the previous works and doings of God in our lives and ensure that we praise and thank Him, because He is worthy to receive all praise, glory and adoration.
Now the question to you is, will you praise God now? If you'll let me know in the comments section. And you can also describe how to praise God in you country side.
definitely, gratefulness is a humbling thing too and it takes a humble heart to be grateful!
