Good morning friends. I trust that you're fine. Hope your night was good and peaceful? I hope so. Mine was good and peaceful.

Welcome to a beautiful Monday morning. Mondays mark the beginning of another working week. I know it's same with you. In my city here, Mondays are characterized by lots of traffic, intense work, loud horns, everyone moving hurriedly just to meet up with time, in order not to get to their office late. But if you'll want to escape the heavy traffic jam, you'd have to leave your house at about 5am, leaving this time doesn't mean you'll escape a little traffic jam. No! You might still meet little traffic jam on the road but it can't be compared to that of the traffic jam that happens by 8am and 9am. Anyways, I wish you a very productive week ahead. Amen

I think I'll just have to freestyle a little bit today, but before I start I have a little announcements;

Special thanks to my sponsors both old and the ones planning to, subscribers both old and those that will subscribe now, also thanks to those who thumbs up and comment on my post, I really appreciate all of you, I do not take it for granted.

I read something this morning from the book of proverbs and it goes like this; a wise man will hear and will increase in learning.

You see one of the things I love about the bike is that it's the most complete book. It has everything you'll ever need to walk through life successfully.

Back to the statement, a wise man will hear and will increase in learning. I'll be doing a little of breakdown so we can fully understand what is been tried to pass across to us.

From the first part of the statement, 'a wise man will hear', this is showing us that the characteristic of a wise man is the willingness to hear. Hmmm, a great one there, this means that anyone that does not exhibit the willingness to hear is unwise (foolish). That you know what to say doesn't necessarily mean you should talk. You'll be doing yourself more good by having a listening ear. So, not everyone who has an ear really listens. Now there are two sides to this. There are some who are extrovert who talks more than they listen, and there are the introverts who talks little and listens because of their own nature which is to be quiet. But we all can attest that because someone listens to you doesn't mean he hears you. To hear means you're ready to listen, consider it an probably put into practice. But we know there are people who will listen to you speak for hours and everything you just said entered through the left ear and left through the other ear. That is what the writer here meant by ' a wise man will hear' emphasy on the 'will', the willingness to hear. Okay now, let me give you an example, when your mom probably reports you to your dad saying; ' I talk to him(referring to you), but he doesn't hear or listen to me', the 'hear' here is not just about you hearing her talk but also you doing what she asked you to do. So, from this inference, we can say that 'hear' doesn't stop at you listening, it goes on to you acting on what is heard.

Talking much and listening less, is a sign of low self esteem at times. Now, people who talk too much do so because they just want to be heard, they feel they have to contribute to what is been said even when their contribution is not wanted, they just want to feel among, feel wanted, feel useful. This leads them to talking and talking till they start going off-point. You really do not have to get validation by talking. Keeping quiet is a sign of a good self esteem. It even places more value on you and your words. The value they'll place on someone who doesn't talk much will be more than that of a talkative, because they'll think it's one of the many times he talks.

Let me end with the story of King Solomon who is the wisest man to live;

When King Solomon became king, there were two ladies (precisely prostitute) they both had babies, one each and I think they were around the same age. So, one night tey both slept, and one of them mistakenly slept on the baby till the baby choked an died, and she happened to wake up before the other lady, when she found out that her baby had died, she quickly exchanged the babies. And the morning came, the woman that had the alive baby looked at the baby and saw that the baby was dead but the baby wasn't hers. I believe she must have cried for a while before noticing that the baby wasn't hers. They started to argue on whose baby was dead or alive, the problem was reported to the king and the ladies were summoned upon. When they came to the king, they both narrated everything to the king, but because the king had the willingness to hear both of them, he judged the matter rightly. For those that will want to know how he judged the matter, google the story and catch the remaining of the story.

The conclusion of everything is for us all to have listening and hearing ears. Because it is more profitable to listen than to speak.

I hope you have a fruitful week. 😉😉

You can truly have full arrangement on the off chance that you pay attention to what others say. The more you talk, the more you can submit botches. Quietness truly tells a great deal in the existence of the shrewd

You can really have full understanding if you listen to what others say. The more you talk, the more you can commit mistakes.

It's also in the Bible that we should speak less, listen more... Silence really tells a lot in the life of the wise
