Don't stop asking

Love and hate are two powerful words that are directly opposite themselves and they mean two entirely different things. I know we must have heard that we should love our neighbor, and this entails the ones that love and hate us. Our supposed enemies are also part of those we're to love. This is both a hard thing to do because there's practically no reason to love those that hate us, some of them do even want anything good for you. To love those people requires a high level of maturity and understanding. Loving good is essentially a thing we all need to learn if we want to see a better society. Also you can't say you love good without hating evil. If we are concerned about trying to figure out how to fix it the problems in the society the same way we're concerned about the things that are wrong, we'll see very positive changes in the world. When you love good, you'll be motivated to defend it anytime regardless of how much people are against you. Every time someone does something evil, we should be part of the first to counter it, no matter how popular it seems. When we hate evil, we must love what is good else we would just be wasting time. It's very important to know that you'll only put your time efforts in things that you love. Love of the wrong things is just you putting yourself on the wrong path and setting yourself up for self-destruction. Loving what is good is not going to be easy because the world in it's default state is tilted towards the evil side, therefore popularity is not enough indicator for loving a thing. You must learn to love good regardless of how unpopular. We should always be able to discern when we start compromising on what we call evil or good. The world has degenerated so much that the things that are normally evil have been termed to be good. Nevertheless, truth will always win because what is good will remains to be good and evil will remain evil.

When you pray, it's important to be specific. When you ask for something, you are harnessing the power of God. Ask in faith, not doubt; then be prepared to receive what God has for you, not necessarily what you want. If you've ever asked God something and then felt disappointed when your request wasn't fulfilled in the exact way that you'd hoped, know that God always has your best interest in mind.

Though God doesn't always answer yes, he always answers with love. No matter the situation, you should always look for something to be thankful for, and never get down on yourself. No matter what, whether it’s about your job, your finances, your relationships, or health, God is working behind the scenes. If you have prayers you’ve been praying for quite some time, keep the faith. God is at work behind the scenes. Nothing is impossible for God.

There are times in our lives when we feel unsure how to ask God for things. How do we ask God for things in a way that will bring about the best results? The Bible tells us to “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7). What exactly does this mean, though? Does this verse mean that God will give us anything we ask for? Does it mean that if we pray, God will change His mind and give us what we ask for even if it isn’t the best thing for us? Can we ask God for anything, or only certain things? As a Christian, I would like to share with you a few tips on how to ask God for things:

1) Begin by asking God to reveal what you should ask for.

2) Ask in faith knowing that God always answers our prayers and that He always hears our prayers.

3) Ask with a humble heart, knowing that even though you may not get an answer to your prayer, you still need to be thankful to God for all the blessings He gives you each day.

4) Ask with a heart filled with gratitude and praise, knowing that whatever He gives you is going to be good.

5) Don’t worry about timing; just know that God is trusting you with something very special.
