Take time each day for a family worship

Are you familiar with a family worship? Family worship is you with your family gathered together and read the Bible. It can be a single verse, a whole chapter or a story in the Bible. It can be also reading a devotional book. Also, it includes singing songs to worship our creator and lastly is praying. Pray for each other and surrender everything to God.

This practice will strengthen the relationship within the family and to our creator and Saviour.

Talk with and pray for your children

Talking to your children is another way to strengthen your family. Give time to talk to them each day. Ask how was their day? Are they okay? How was their school, their work or in short be friends with them. Get their confidence to tell you what they felt.

Pray for them. Praying with them is very essential too. Mention their names while you are praying that they may know that you really cared for them.

Affirm and value your children

Learn to appreciate every single accomplishment of your children. Learn to thank them for their helping hands. Encourage them everytime they will lost hope or lost confident in theirselves. Parents are the first person to lift them up in trying times of their lives.

Plan special times together

Plan an activity where the whole family could participate. Have some picnic and involve everyone in preparing foods and things. It can also be an outreach program where the family will join in some group of volunteers to give some food or gifts to the people especially children. Also, you may go to church together.

These kinds of activity will be one of the most cherish moments in their life. Moments with family is precious and will be remembered throughout time.

Be the change you wish to see

Follow what i said but dont follow what i do is not a good idea to have a strong family. How can i say so? for example you are telling you children to go to church but you are not going to. You are telling them to follow what you said but you dont want to follow what you are doing. BE AN EXAMPLE.

Family is meant to encourage and not to discouraged. Family is the first fan of every member.

Learn also to forgive and learn to ask forgiveness if you have done something wrong. Making a space by not talking to someone is not good. Learn to reach out and speak over things in a right way.

Be your brothers keeper

Never stop praying for them. Always think that you are one. When one succeed, everyone will be happy. When the other failed the family will be sad too.

Keep our eyes set on eternal reality

Inform, remind every member that their is God who is the owner of everything and Jesus will be coming soon again and bring His children to His kingdom. Spiritual life of every member is very important. Let the faith of the family be burning.
