Can a robot replace me? I recently had a weird situation at work. A team of experts has created a robot that has the purpose of doing one part of the work that I do. I do my job with a team of about 10 people. The robot is programmed to do a part of our work that is "clean" and that has no errors in its process that would have to be corrected manually. These are some perfect situations in which everything goes according to the rules and they are rare, but they still exist and we, the people, don't have to deal with them anymore, because the robot does it for us. I don’t know why but I wasn’t happy when this happened although I should be. I should be happy because it is good that processes are improving and that we turn to innovations and artificial intelligence in order to make our work better. Artificial intelligence has been doing a great job in our society and has good uses, but it can also be abusive, which society should be aware of. Artificial intelligence systems affect the way we communicate, trade, work, and live. They help us in various key areas. They can train to influence people's behavior and decision-making process, although, for now, in limited and rather abstract circumstances but life without artificial intelligence becomes unthinkable.
And that should be accepted as part of the reality we live in and not as something we need to deny or fight against. Man has made a machine and cannot fight against something he has made himself even though he surpasses himself in his inventions. But my question is, "can my new colleague "robot" replace me?" Since it shortened the time of a certain part of the job, it also reduced the number of people who come to work. In the morning, instead of talking to a colleague drinking morning coffee or tea, I had to turn on the robot to work. I was alone, in silence. I am afraid that artificial intelligence will bring more silence to the world and that we may lose our purpose in existence. We may be less needed. Maybe our survival will be threatened. What do you think? Can robots replace us? Thank you very much for reading. The article is original and mine and the lead image is from unsplash.com.

Robots can be malfunctioned sometines, well they were made by the people and cannot work with out people.. I don't see working robots in real life so I'm a bit confuse also maam ...
Yes, it can make your job easier. But what will you do if a robot is brought in to do your job for you tomorrow? You come to work in the morning, there is no one in the office and you are a robot. People have no tolerance for each other anymore. There is no one to talk to, to tell your troubles to. I think in time they will take our place
Thats the problem ,although it can make the works easier but what happened to some people who was working if the robot will replace them?
No dear. It will not happen. I know the world is moving fast towards robotics era but I don’t think so.
The answer depends on the situation and capabilities of robots. As you know, there are thousands of robots worker in Amazon today. They replaced humans because humans get tired easily and will be paid monthly. Unlike robots, just need some maintenance, low maintenance at best.
Yeah a robot can be place instead of human being. Peoples trying to create robot with emotions too. Maybe they'll success in near future🙃
I'm afraid it will soon sis. The high technology of this era promises a high tech world in the future and it may hard to say but I see it in the future. It will never replace us if we won't let that happen.
I believe that automation will push humanity forward. I don't think robots are stealing anything from us. It will force people to gain more skills. The past generation, especially clerks and accountants, were initially complaining that computers are taking their jobs. People used to use calculators to make various analyses and reports. Nowadays we find it ridiculous since a computer will do it faster and with fewer mistakes (ideally none). Machines don't get tired, they don't need a holiday or a weekend break.
it's probably one of the most interesting things if a robot works because it will carry out its duties properly without having the burden of a human mind.
Robots are replacing humans in different walks of life. Many people are loosing their jobs thanks to computerized machines that does the work faster and accurately. I don't see them as a threat to us. But rather a way of making things easier. We need to learn how to adapt with the technological advancement.
In some tasks they can definitely replace us dear friend @Jelena. On the other hand it must be weird to work with a robot hehe but at the same time it must be fascinating. There is a lot to talk about regarding this topic.
