Hey guys! This is a movie review of We're The Millers.
The main cast are:
✨ Jennifer Aniston as Rose
✨ Jason Sudeikis as David
✨ Emma Roberts as Casey
✨ Will Poulter as Kenny
Storyline:
David, a drug dealer, is forced by his boss to smuggle drugs from Mexico. He hires a stripper, a petty thief and a teenage neighbour and forms a fake family to help him smuggle the drugs.
My thoughts about the movie:
*Cast
This is a masterpiece. The combination of the cast is superb! The chemistry between Jennifer and Jason is undeniable. I mean, any guy Jennifer teams up works everytime. But this couple's duo feels very comfortable. David is good in comedy while Jennifer played adorably as a stripper (nothing offensive meant). Emma plays a homeless emo gangster and Will plays an innocent weird 18 yr old guy, clueless about romance.
*Storyline
Desperate moves in desperate situations. David feels hopeless with his life when the drugs he deals were stolen as they got into a fight between the gangsters mocking Casey. David got a call for an offer to smuggle drugs. David comes up with a strategy of pretending as a family travelling to Mexico for a road trip using a bus. So Rose as his wife, then Casey and Kenny as their children.
The journey unfolds when they met a family travelling elsewhere for a road trip as well when David found out the father as a cop. Kenny falls in love with the daughter but were dumped because Kenny, Rose and Casey were caught kissing him as a practice. As David discovers that Pablo Picasso, the drug owner is fake, his boss set him deadline to deliver sa drugs to him but David fails to because of unexpected circumstances.
Rose, Casey, and Kenny were clueless about the amount of money for commission David receives. David became greedy but went back to reconcile with the "family" he has established. David failed to deliver the drugs on time so he was not paid but the FBI with the help of the father of the other family, caught them. The Millers were under investigation so they were living on the same house til it's over. David and Rose developed a sweet and loving relationship. They continued to plant marijuana though. 🤣
What I like about this movie is their connection to each other. It doesn't feel like they're acting, it just comes natural. The mood is light, and for sure you'll gonna laugh out loud from the start to the end.
