So I've had some troubles in making articles lately. I can't seem to find the right subject for me to write about.
It was earlier when I attended the mass then I found my inspiration right away. Our dear bishop was the mass presider, and this was what he said that struck me the most,
"Give thanks to the Lord in all circumstances"
It touched my heart so much and it got me thinking.
Of course there are bad circumstances that happen to us. It is an inevitable situation in our lives, but still we must be thankful not because of the bad ones but the underlying reasons of it.
There must be something in it that gives us reason to appreciate everything.
We may ask, "Lord, what is your message? I don't understand. Please enlighten me."
I know a lot of us are struggling with our day to day life experiences. Most especially with the crisis we've been dealing for quite a while now. 2020 has been tough.
Some lost their jobs, others lost their loved ones, and some are starving. In this kind of circumstances, it negatively affects our way of thinking and that's normal. Our reactions are valid. We lose faith easily, we give up, we become hopeless.
However, apart from this circumstances we have learned how people work hand in hand to help the humankind. There was humanity and compassion. They are God's instruments to work and make a move to show that there is hope.
Cliche as it sounds but we should always on the brighter side. Don't settle for something you don't have instead focus on the things you have and be grateful. There are people struggling or wishes to be someone like you so be an inspiration to them.
In times like this, prayer is the strongest weapon to fight this battle. God is bigger than our problems. God is bigger than our fears. God is everything.
Have a blessed sunday! Peace ✌️
