The Revenant movie is another successful Leonardo DiCaprio movie. It is a 2015 movie but was released at 2016 in the Philippines. I saw this movie on big screen with my husband when I was pregnant with our son and I was so in love with the movie. Leonardo's performance was award-winning and very satisfying. The storyline, the effects and Leonardo's performance was super amazing. I'm emphasizing Leonardo's performance cause it's deserving for emphasis. He won best actor four times for this movie! The cinematography was amazing. The movie felt real and the scenes are so powerful that you will be freaking out. The bear attack was one of the most intense scene in the movie. This is one of the movies worth paying for to watch. It was so realistic that you can feel even the coldness of the environment in the movie.
The story is about Leonardo's character that was attacked by the bear and abandoned by his crew and uses his skill to endure and seek vengaence to his crew that betrayed him. He was in death's doorstep but managed to survive. And his journey to revenge and surviving was epic. And it was inspired by true events.
I am very impressed to this movie. Salute to the director, actors and all the staffs who made Revenant one of the greatest film in history. If you like surviving and revenge themed movie, or even if you don't, you will surely love this movie. It will blow out your mind, in a good way. And you will be recommending this to your friends. That's how great this movie is. You will want to watch it over and over again and still be satisfied. You can watch it on Netflix.
