This series is from the books of Sara Shepard. It is a drama, thriller and crime and mystery movie. It was first released in June 2010 and was finished in June 2017. It has 7 seasons. Season 1 has 22 episodes, season 2 has 25 episodes, seasons 3 and 4 have 24 episodes each, season 5 has 25 episodes, and seasons 6 and 7 have 20 episodes each. So you can say that every season is very long.
This series is about the lives of a group of five girls about the disappearance of their leader, Allison who is also known to be a bully and Queen Bee (super mean) in their school. People believed that Allison might be dead. After that incident, they were disunited. After a year, they were reunited because they were receiving texts from someone who introduced herself as "A". "A" was torturing and threatening them for the mistakes they've done in the past. The story now revolves around their struggle and their journey to uncover the mystery. At first, they thought it was Allison but then Allison's body was found and they were left with confusion.
This series, despite its thriller suspense genre, is also full of drama that everyone can relate with. Problems in school, family, friends, boyfriends, gender identity, and many more are all covered here. The story is full of twists and lies that you won't know what's what and who's who until you watch the full episode, the season, or the whole show. It's mind-twisting. Everything is in here. The importance of trust, love, relationship. This is also one of my favorite TV series.
