Jena and Hank have known each other their whole lives. Their fathers are high school buddies and corporate partners. They grew up spending each holiday with their family together.
Jena is an interior decorator and Hank is an architect. They do almost all their projects together. They are inseparable their whole lives. As what we all expect, they are always partnered with each other during special occasions. Their family constantly tell them that they look good together, that they are perfect for each other.
No matter how hard their family pushes, they both find it improper for them to date each other. It just never crossed their mind. They're not into that kind of relationship with each other. Plus, they both have a relationship.
Hank is in an open relationship with Alisha for 4 months now. Hank's friendship with Jena is never an issue to Alisha. She's cool with it. She likes her but Jena doesn't think Alisha is the right girl for Hank. But even so,, she never let them be and just supports her best friend's choices.
Jena is also in a relationship (not an open one though) with Morgan for over a year now. Unlike Alisha, Morgan is not to hyped with the two's relationship. He thinks it's too much. But he never makes a fuss out of it. He keeps his thoughts up to himself and still tries to seem cool with it. Jena sometimes feel it and see it in Morgan, though. And when she does, she tries so hard to make Morgan feel special and let him feel he should not be worrying about anything. Their relationship seems okay. Morgan may sometimes feel insecure but their relationship is fine. He also tries to be friends with Hank. Morgan thinks he has no other choice other than be friends with him.
Morgan arranged a surprise dinner party for his proposal to Jena tonight. Jena thought it's an ordinary dinner date like they used to. They always have a dinner date every week to keep the fire burning in their relationship.
While Jena was getting ready for their dinner date, a knock on her door stopped her. She opened it and Hank stood there staring blankly, drank. He looked devastated. He hugged her. She was shocked and worried so she let him in and told him to sit down and asked what happened. Hank didn't talk. He just sat there and stared blankly. She hugged him and patted his back.
She called Morgan to tell him that she might be late and told him about Hank. Morgan was not so pleased about it. He had enough. He feels like every time, she always pick Hank first over him and that this can no longer be the case. She tried to explain to Morgan the situation and Morgan agreed somehow.
Hours passed and Hank still won't talk other than when he asked for a beer. She refused but Hank got up and grabbed the beer on the fridge and drank it. She tried to stop him from drinking more. He won't stop. She's so worried for him but also kinda irritated because she knows Morgan is waiting for her. She decided she'll leave Hank and go to her dinner date but when she told Hank she'll be leaving and he can stay the night at her house, Hank looked at her and asked her to just be with him now. She told him that if he'll just drink and not talk, she'll leave and they'll have to talk in the morning. He then started to talk.
To be continued...

What do you think happened with Hank? What's his problem that he can't talk about it until Jena told him she's leaving? Do you think Morgan really understands her? How long do you think Morgan can keep up Jena and Hank's friendship? Do you think Jena cares more to Hank than to Morgan? Where is Alisha? Tell me what you think. :)

Did you ever write the continuation already? Because I've been pretty busy recently
