Organic... Yes, that sounds good. This means it's healthy and can be considered as not harmful to your body. Maybe, if we start considering this option, we can have a healthier body. Maybe if we give this a chance, we start to appreciate it's true value. I love that thought. And tasting it makes me want to love not only the thought but also the taste of it.
Organic foods, of course, have benefits and are considered safer. Not only that it is good for you but also it's better for animals and the environment.
Organic foods are free from harmful elements like pesticides and antibiotics, etc. Their meat is also safer because they are raised without any antibiotics and other things alike. You still get the nutrition from non-organic foods but they said that the nutritional value in organic food is higher than non-organic food. Although it seems that organic food is more expensive because of its high demand and it requires more labor as well. But this does not mean that it's safe from all food-borne illnesses especially salmonella. We are still at risk of this kind of sickness. Also, some are still high in sugar and salt. Organic fruits and vegetables have a shorter lifespan as well.
So basically there are pros and cons in everything including organic food. Always be careful and know your limits. We all heard of the saying, "Too much of everything is bad."
