Our Newly Built Fishpond and Installing Basketball and Volleyball Ground

I am very excited today because it is time to filled with water to our newly built fish pond here near at our House. Last month, My Father decided to built a fish pond here and for me, this is a kind of great project for us here because the fish will be put in here is the telapia fish. Tilapia is a kind of most popular fish and good for different kinds of dish just like fish soup, fried fish, scabetche and Ginataan recipé. This is really a good business because each kilo of this fish will reach up to 100 Kilos and for me this is a good ways of earnings and business.

First, we make a big whole to the ground and the depth of 3 Feet. This is perfect for culturing 1000 telapia fish in this kind of depth and how big the whole it is. After that, we collected more stones in the river including sands and gravels. This big stones will help the corners and sides of the fish ponds become hard and solid. This will help to keep the ground of being not eroded due to the water. It will not also moisted the soil due to the water. Adding this kind can also serve as decorations of the fish pond.

After buying a sacks of cements, we mixed it up in the sand and gravel and started to put on each side of the pond, together with the big stones to make it durable and well organized. The water will not instantly absorbed to the soil because of this concretes putting on each side of the pond. Exactly 8 Am when we started to install the submersible equipment so that we can easily get more water from the river.

But before we installed the submersible equipment, there was a slightly problem, the water hose can't reach to the water in the river that is why we decided to dug a whole in the sand. It was very lucky to us because we dug a place full of water. After digging, we put the big barrel so that the sand and stones will not be collapse while putting the submersible. At last, we finally solved the problem and we started to filled the hole with water. We placed the water hose in the grass so that it can be safe from the children who also played in the areas. We hang the other water hose in the branch of the tree so that it can be safe from children.

We built our new fish pond near at the bamboo plant. This is a perfect spots because it keeps the water very cool always. This place will not directly hit by the sunlight that is why it keeps the place very cool and relaxing.

It takes to fill the hole with water for almost 8 hours and finally the hole was already full. We tried to filled it with water and check on how the water absorb to the soil. Our place contains sands that is why it is easy to absorb the water. We also clean and removed the dry bamboo leaves using the nets. We carefully checked each side of the pond if there is a leakage and lucky there was not.

Putting A Basketball Playground:

After that, I asked some of my friends to put a simple basketball ground near at our neighbor's house. First they constructed the board were we put the ring and look for a perfect place to put the board. They experienced a slightly problem of putting this board in the coconut tree because it is very heavy and added to that, it is difficult to nailed on the coconut stem.

We also put volleyball ground because their are many people who loves to play volleyball especially my cousins and relatives. This ground is perfect for putting the net, we tied in this two coconut trees and we removed and cut those wild plants and twigs.

This little girl was also having so much fun playing her ball and she is ready to play in the ground. We are very happy and proud that we have this kind of place, many people will having much fun playing and exploring the place and as for that we will keep our place develope and a productive areas.
