Nutwood common is looking it's best, fresh, green and sparkling, full of zest
The rabbit twins burst from the trees, they both look scared, Rabbid sees
Speechless, Shem clutches Rabbid's arm, the brothers now must raise the alarm
"We heard a sad voice, near the pool,"
"But no one was there, I am not a fool."
"A voice?" Says Rabbid, "No one there?"
"Sounds like a truck is in the air."
He sets off, he will take his chances, the twins turn tail and exchanged scared glances.
Under foot the branches crunch, but Rabbid has a nervous hunch.
Now near the pool he hears a 'pop!' a voice begins, it doesn't stop.
The groaning voice makes Rabbid jumb, he searches while his heart does thump.
Never feeling more alone, he turns to go but hears a moan
He is quite brave but now he feels rather scared, and takes to his heels
Those Rabbid twins were quite right, the voice have given him a fright.
