SYNOPSIS
A gripping cross country chase ensues when a father takes his son and makes a run for it after the devastating murder of his boss after the discovery of some intelligence that could bring down some very shady people.
The pair are pursued by two trained assassins, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult and Aidan Gillen, who relentlessly track them down, but not before the father ensures his son played by Finn Little who the story centres around, has a chance to get away with the evidence.
Being pursued the boy makes his way through the forested heading for a nearby town using only the rivers and creeks as his guide, when he crosses paths with Angelina Jolie's character who stops him after noticing him in distress with blood on his face.
Angie quickly establishes something is wrong and offers the boy assistance, which he refuses as he doesn't know who he can trust.
Without going into too much detail and ruining the storyline, Angie decides to help unbeknown that her ex is in fact boys family, who by now the trained assassins have targeted which adds a little surprise survival twist to the plot.
Which I will not disclose here you will have to watch for yourself He He.
The film also has a solid supporting cast played by Jon Bernthal, Medina Senghore, and Jake Weber.
MY CONCLUSION
A brilliantly thought out storyline that encompasses the action, characters and overall feel of the theme into a gripping plot worthy of some attention.
There are some great action packed scenes and mini gunfights that come together pretty well, I would definitely recommend a watch....
