Similarities: People Come And Go, But Lessons Remain
June 12, 2021 I got this idea from @Charlotte comment on my post.
https://noise.cash/post/lk7k2pkq **SIMILARITIES...** **The fact or state of being similar or alike.** Things in this world have differences but shared some similarities. The square and rectangle are different in shape but both have four angles, and that is their similarities. The left and right shoes are different in shape, but similar in usage and both are for the feet. The candle and lamp are different in shape and appearance, but both give out a similar element, and that is light. People in different parts of the world have differences - in cultures, traditions, languages, colors, attributes, nationalities - but have similarities in some perceptions, views, aspects in life, and actions. We think we eat, we walk, we talk, we love, we get hurt, we live, and we die. And we come and go in someone's life at any time. "People come and go, but lessons remain " There are billion of people in this world, but only a few are destined to take their full journey with us in life. And on the crowd with tons of differences, we would probably feel so lucky if we bump into our match. Although I don't believe in soulmate stuff, other's match does cross on people's paths. No one is tailor-made for us, and we aren't made tailored for anyone either. But isn't it fun when both of you shared similarities? The same age, the same perspectives, the same favorites, the same characteristics. You watched the same movie, you listen to the same music, you eat the same food, you drink the same tea, and you love to go to the same place. You are almost like a twin, a fraternal twin. Is that what they call '*soul mate',* people who are meant to meet with similarities? Your match? Your bully? Your best friend? You feel comfortable with each other and accepting one's flaws. You aren't a couple but people think you are. You vouched to be friends forever to avoid getting hurt. But the feeling grows and one day the other one wanted more. *He* wanted to be more than friends. And *you* feel confounded by your feeling. You feel safe when someone is walking beside you. You feel happy when someone makes you smile despite your intricate mind. You feel happy when someone accepts your flaws and loves you for who you are. You feel happy when being with your twin, twin not by blood, but by personality. And you want to remain that feeling forever and keep him forever. However, he wants to go in the opposite direction, and you become confused about whether to go with him or not. You want to keep him, but not in that way. Because you know that once the status change, everything will change as well. And you don't want it to happen. But then things are meant to happen, just like how both of you cross each other's paths. And the only constant in this world is *change*. The similarities become differences. The twin split up and not a twin anymore. You watch different movies, you listen to different music, you eat different food, you drink different tea, and you go to different places. Until both become fed up with each other's flaws, relationships become dull, perspectives become criticism, and both parted and go in different directions. He saved you from being stuck in the mud of sadness from your painful breakup with your past, why can't you give your heart to him? And so he decided to let go. He left, but lessons remained... But as he left, you have realized his worth, but it's too late. It's too late as he sailed away to the farthest land. A place where he moved on and forgot about your past. A place where he found his new happiness. Then you got so many *what-ifs* in your mind. *What if you have accepted his love?* Maybe you are both happier together. Maybe the feeling will grow fonder. Maybe the string will be knotted to keep you both forever. But regrets happen in the end, and the flow of water that has passed won't pass again. Let bygones be bygones. But keep the treasure of lessons in your chest. The similarities... People have differences, but one thing is similar, we grow, we change - physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually. We live, we fall in love, we get hurt, we get sick, we face challenges, we die, and we won't remain on someone's side forever, because we always come and go. But at the end of the day, at the end of every challenges, at the end of every pain, some things always remains - the lessons, and their memories. This is my entry to @JonicaBradley prompt series for this week using the word "**Similarities**." Now it's your turn @Eylz2021 @Bloghound @Gracee sorry for the tag guys π If you can't think of any topic to write about, then you can join. Write an original article about the prompt: Similarities At least 600 words. Don't forget to tag @JonicaBradley the initiator of this prompt series. If you are curious who's story is that, it's about me and Romar, the man I have wasted in the past. Thanks for your time.

The point is keep your own attitude like an freedom people do .. No matter people stay with them or not but they keep in their own position because change your self for some one is biggest stupidity .. Anyway , take those lesson as your experience so that you can teach it to your child too !
This is so true, and those lessons shape who we are as a person. I've always believed that every individuals unique blend of interactions with others is what really shapes who they are. Thanks for the beautiful article.
Thanks for stopping by as well
Oucchhh naman sis, tagos ahhh.. Love this, talagang there were people that always come and go in our lives but yes of course there contributions in us of whatever it is remains in us.
And will be remembered until we get older π
Tama sis, pero we knew that there is always a lesson learned after everything hehe
You go, gurl! You're one tough lady! Thanks for the mention pala, sis. Let's see if I can come up with something! Xoxo
What about the story with your match? π€
Uhmm π
People come take benefits from you and teach you a lesson not to trust anyone. Thats it.

And you felt confounded by your feeling. Why naman ganito? Bigla akong naiyak habang nagbabasa :( Memories came rushing in. This is literally my experience. When you found the person that seems to compliment you, the person that has the similarity with you, having the same perspectives in life, same vibes. You became to comfortable around them but then, in the end they will become a passerby - a passerby in your life. A passerby that will leave a valuable life lesson.
Sta b yung b yung tinukoy mo dati sa article mo? Yung tipong totoo syo, pro pinakawalan mo lng . π₯
Hindi hehe, iba yun, Kaya di ako pwede mag lovelife eh. I always fail in managing *relationships*, whatever kind of relationship it is.
Same. π₯ kya ayoko mag invest ng time and lams na. Sa isang tao. D ko rn mahahandle at masasaktan lng dn ako.
Baka maging poreber alone tayo kung ganito lagi hehe. Wag naman sana π
Tanggap ko na π€£ ikaw bata kpa.. Mkakahanap kpa
Is there any competition or just randomly? Haha will try to write on this!
Not a competition.. Just write whatever you want using the prompt
oh... don't think about the what ifs..you will know in due time why you didn't end up with each other.. anyway, if he's your destiny, your paths will cross again...
That was long ago.. I just make it an inspiration to write this article π . I totally moved on..pero gusto ko mag applogize sa tao.. Kaso d ko na sua mahagilap sa social media π₯
When you will come face to face with someone that will make your heart go fonder then you will know the reason why you didn't make it with your ex. My nbasa aq, too much similarities won't make it long, prang boring daw. Unlike sa differences, you got to learn what the other one is interested in at bka mgkaroon k din ng interest sa bagay na un pwera n lng sa bisyoπ
He's not my ex.. Hndi naging kami kc nireject ko sya.. Sya lng tao nagpakatotoo sakin at hinarap family ko.. Pro sinayang ko lng π’ gusto ko nga mag sorry sa knya.. I know happy na sya sa iba.. Kaso hndi ko na mahanap sa social media.. Although i know his hometown. Pro I don't have the courage na harapin sya.
Now lang nagkaroon ng mmadaming time magbasa sis. And I agree sa lahat ng similarities na nabanggit mo, we grow, learn, get hurt and so on and people are comr and go nga naman kaya dapat di tayo masyado maattach sa kanila. They may leave us but all the memories and lessons we learn from and with them will always remain in our mind mad soul :)
Ngayon ko lng din nabsa comment mo π so gawa kna at mahugot jan π€£
Ang galing mo talaga sumulat. HEHE. Wala yun lang comment ko. Pero seriously, minsan talaga pag puro utak pinaiiral natin, mas nagkakamali pa tayo. Minsan, dapat din itry ang nga bagay bagay at wag masyadong advance mag isip. Like in your case, your worried that things won't end up well between the two of you in the long run. Ayaw mo rin masira yung friendship etc etc, kaya na missed mo yung opportunity na sana masaya ka na sa piling niya. Pero sabi nga nila, True love waits. Kung kayo talaga, kayo talaga in the end.
Relate ka din ba? π for sure may mahuhugot ka jan. Sulat na bout similarities π And thanks for stopping by
Fantastic article. One thing is sure we are all vastly different yet we are all unique that is our similarities
regrets really do happens in the end. but you noted the lessons you learned from the past and never to let it happen again. I once had wasted an opportunity but take it as a lesson to not be swayed easily again. God Bless Maam!
True.. Lessons are what matters there. And wherever we go, we can always apply those lessons as they remain in our minds forever.
So true. People come and go... it reminds me of a popular phrase made by a former boss... she would always say "soldier go, soldier come" if you leave my job others would come. The long and short news is just that we should make our impact felt irrespective of the little time we spend in a place.
