Hello guys! Good morning to all of you. It's another day again to be thankful to our beloved Creator. New opportunities, new chances, and blessings. Today I'll be sharing to you the physical signs of stress.
So first of all, what is stress? Stress is often described as a feeling of being overloaded, wound-up tight, tense and worried. We all experience stress at times. It can sometimes help to motivate us to get a task finished, or perform well. But stress can also be harmful if we become over-stressed and it interferes with our ability to get on with our normal life for too long.
Physical Signs of Stress
headaches
upset stomach
heavy heart
back pain
neck and shoulder pain
tight muscles
lump in the throat
not feeling hungry
Are you experiencing those signs? Here are some things that you should do. First is you should avoid, or at least reduce intake of caffeine, alcohol and nicotine. Second is you should indulged yourself in physical activity. When you feel stressed and tense, go for a brisk walk in fresh air. Try to incorporate some physical activity into your daily routine on a regular basis, either before or after work, or at lunchtime. Regular physical activity will also improve the quality of your sleep. Lastly is try relaxation techniques. Don't worry if you find it difficult to relax at first. Relaxation is a skill that needs to be learned and will improve with practice.
