Covenant Sunday

Good afternoon to y'all here, it's just day two out of 365 and everything seems okay and we hope for the best this year. I opened my bitcoin.com wallet and I was glad to see the rise in BCH, even though it's a small increase but it's a sign of a good year and I hope the price sky rockets it's all time high price, only then can our patience turn to a miracle. We have started this year on a good note and we can only pray that it's just the beginning of good things in our lives

It's Sunday and also the first of it's kind this year and we pray for more of it this year. Its covenant Sunday, I don't know about other churches but every Sunday in the first month of a year, January are always covenant Sundays. Its a time to make new covenants with God or probably renew some of the covenants you've had with God in the previous year.

Let me start with the meaning of a covenant; Covenant is like an agreement between two parties, they must be in mutualism, and total agreement and in most of the cases, there are punishments for whoever in among the parties break the agreement. For example, it is believed that if a couple probably in a relationship that'd lead to marriage have a blood covenant, most of the times, they cut themselves with blade and taste each other's blood, don't let me use the word suck their blood but the bottom line is that after these ritualism is done, it is believed that anyone of them that breaks the covenant shall be hunted by the blood of the other party in this agreement. I don't know how true that is but God's covenant isn't like that because God never fails. He'll keep his covenant once we don't break the terms of our agreement with God.

This year is promising to be a good year once we're in accordance with God's word, that is, all the promises God has for his children in the Bible are going to be ours provided that we live our lives right and according to his commandments, he has promised us good health and prosperity among other great things but just on one condition, live your life just the way he wants it. Our body is the temple of God, that's why he's concerned about us. We shouldn't go about defiling the temple of God, by that, God's blessings is surely ours.

This year, I've made some covenant with God and it'll be a good thing for you to do likewise also because he's faithful to keep his promise.
