First off, I believe that privacy is power. What other don't know, they can't destroy. Confidentiality is wisdom. It's wisdom because you don't let them know what they don't need to know.

The fast emergence and vast acceptance of social networking sites in todays communities has seemingly revolutionized human behavior, lifestyle and thinking. Social networking sites were truly becoming absolute hits among the user regardless age, sex or location. Now, privacy and confidentiality are what at stake.

Privacy and confidentiality are deemed important to uphold in life because these two will maintain our worth and value as a person. Besides, it is not necessary to let everyone know everything about us. Because the moment we divulge personal information when they are not asked and necessary at the same time, we make ourselves, our profile, our personality, and our life public. It is as if saying that we welcome criticisms and judgements.

Certainly, we have to take care of these two. We have to know how to use these privileges so that we wouldn't suffer if we do otherwise.

Yes I've seen many people suffering because of this and we should know who to trust on that
