"Your enemy has been slain", a famous line from a social phenomenon in terms online gaming, Mobile Legends. The objective of the game is to destroy the opponents' base by killing enemy heroes. If there is one thing I have learned seeing the situation of people playing Mobile Legends, it is the fact that one should know how to prioritize in life. Life has a lot of demands, and being addicted to this game should not be the status quo.

People's addiction to such online game was found to have an influence to their life. That is, their attention is redirected to something that doesn't really help. I believe that with this possible action from the government, they would be able to show that they care about the mental health of Filipinos. As players get more and more addicted to this, such gaming disorder gets worse.

I would also like to explicate that it is saddening to witness the youth of today, Mobile Legends players, proliferate cursing and using of obscene language while playing. Whenever I go to computer shops, it has been normal to hear "t*ng*n* m*!", "b*b*", "p*t*", and etc. Hearing such words is disappointing for how could cursing and the use of obscene language be a norm for young people? An another lesson that is imbibed on me is to use online games to socialize and build friendship considering ethical standards.

The addiction of the youth in playing Mobile Legends reflects on poor parental guidance. Yes. Parents should do interventions with such addiction. But, ironic as it may seem, instead of guiding their children on how to manage time properly, what happens is that they guide them on how to play ML. And, they play together. What a way to bond with family members! With this, I learned that parents somehow have shortcomings.

Really, Mobile Legends perpetuates the idea of addiction and cursing. These two things ought to stop. By learning that this is the case of Mobile Legends in our country, I now reflect and I hope, you also do reflect: are we slaying the real enemy? Not until we ban Mobile Legends in the country that we could achieve victory.
