The global community has reached a point that sets ties and connection between and among nations as a necessity for one's safety and sustainability.

Globalization, since its outset, has changed the way things were, expanding the view of diverse peoples. It has impacted national economies and so, each nation is now able to augment its financial status which it can use to suffice the needs of its consitituents.

With globalization, distance lost its significance in a sense that people of distinctive homelands can now communicate despite of such odd, thanks to Facebook, Yahoo and G- Mail, and the likes.

Multinational associations such as the United Nations have helped alot in uplifting the developong nations' status, hence Philippines one of these developing nations owes much to globalization.

In supplementation, globalization expands the view of a nation to the manifoldness of peoples' civilization beyond confines, celebrating commonality and uniqueness.

The answer as to which globalization is between boon and bane depends on the part of the globe you stand on, thus, as a Filipino citizen I say that globalization is a boon.
