Bangkokbitcoin.cash, my flipstarter was funded as of friday February 5, 2020. I am excited to keep this momentum going. I will maintain this weekly report each sunday.
Report#2: progress of Bangkokbitcoin.cash campaign.
This week’s report does not have many things new just yet, but progress is very good. The website is almost ready https://bangkokbitcoin.cash/en/ . The designer is working on all designs and I found the potential team.
Flipstarter (Budget: $100 | February 5 spent: $100) DONE!
Website (Budget: $1000 | February 6 spent: $500 | remaining: $500 | Thinking about giving $100 extra bonus)
Progress: The website is almost ready, 31 active merchants are added and I have to contact 20+ merchants more to confirm as they might stopped accepting or closed down during situations for example the exchange was shut down, especially Coronavirus. 92 locations of wash and dry service will be added in April and I am hoping to add 100+ more soon, I’m in discuss with the CEO of the platform that has 100+ merchants to list BCH on their platform, after that I will add all BCH merchants in Thailand.

I need to come up with a small lesson for each video so that Thai people and new people learn something in each one. for example, wallet backup, moving wallet to new phone, sweeping paper wallet and ETC.

Integrate onboarding with videos. Every video will feature a merchant and a map to the merchant so anyone can go there. It’s good for the merchant so it encourages them to sign up because the video is free advertising for them.
BCH give-away

create a flyer for an instruction, how to start using BCH and print merchant BCH QR code to put at their shops

have BCH gift set with flyer, mask and shirt
BCH give-away (Budget: $3000) there are 2 parts of this budget (BCH give-away and BCH users reward program) (February 11 spent: $95)
Progress:
so last meetup, there were BCH give away for new comers, early birds and BCH users, everyone paid their bills in BCH and some attendees got 3 of them. I will keep doing at next meetups for new comers and BCH users.
