Pretty sure dude is going to recognize this story but I am slightly tipsy at the moment .. feel like sharing.
About a month ago, decided to meet up with this guy on tinder. I was actually late for an hour .. dealing with other drama in life .. he was really nice and still willing to meet up.
Gotta say the moment I saw him I said to myself .. damnnn he is my type. Lol
We went on had some drinks, decided to continue talking cuz it felt right .. wondered in the city as we continue the conversation. Shared to each other of the music we enjoy and honestly .. cannot believe this guy actually asked me to fucking slow dance in the middle of the street at 4am. Lots of twirls and me trying to hold back not to kiss Humm Romantic AF.
Must say .. real gentleman only kissed me on the forehead. It is so vanilla .. almost too good to be true.
Continued hanging out until we both couldn’t stay awake anymore .. he called an Uber and made sure I got home safely. It was around 6am I believe.
Whatever happened afterwards really isn’t important ... I mean while I sort of hope things would work out between us, I also knew with the distance it just didn’t seem possible at all. Actually planned to go visit him in a month or two but he didn’t seem to be interested anymore .. as a woman I think I will take my cue and just disappear with some dignity. Ha
But I think we all need one of these memories in our lives like the movie Before Sunrise. One day I will tell my kids how romantic life could be, and life is indeed full of surprises. These are the moments I live for.
