Abigail lived with her step-mother who treated her badly. The were other girls in the house whose lives were rough. One of them, Kezia, was a harlot and a lesbian. She tried to push Abigail into that trade, but she could not succeed because Abigail was protected by her father anytime there was trouble.
One day, Kezia asked Abigail to meet her in town at a specific place. They were going to meet a rich man who would want to help her with money to start a business and be able to take care of herself. Abigail called Nancy and told her about all what Kezia had told her. Meanwhile, Abigail was engaged in a 'space-to-space' business, which was paying off well. Nancy then asked Abigail to meet her up at their usual spot. When Abigail and Nancy met, they spent more than two hours. At the end, Nancy succeeded in making Abigail understand that, everything Kezia had told her about meeting up with the rich man was a plan to get her(Abigail) into trouble.
The next day, Abigail called Nancy and thanked her for her advice since she said that she had overheard Kezia telling her friends that she(Abigail) was very lucky not to have responded to her call.
A few months later, while Nancy was window-shopping, she received an unexpected call from Abigail. She was crying and requested to meet up with Nancy. Nancy was really worried after the call since Abigail was crying, but she became more worried and shocked when she met Abigail and saw the awful state that she was in.
Nancy did not hesitate to ask her what had happened and this is what she said;
Abigail's narration:
" Nancy, I went to 'Deport' to purchase some business cards for my business. There, strangely enough, I met a lady who introduced herself to me as Linda. She said that she wanted me as a friend and that I should accompany her to Bantama. On our way she asked me to do some assignment for her. She wanted to get back with her boyfriend whom she had broken up with. I without any after-thought went ahead and met this man who nearly raped me that evening. Yesterday, around 17:00GMT, this Linda called me to meet her at the boy's place. I agreed to do so and headed for Bantama immediately. As soon as she saw me, she began insulting me, calling me ''a prostitute and a hopeless girl who had come to destroy her relationship with her boyfriend''. She caught me by the neck and started giving me blows left and right. She then tore my dress, pushed me to the ground, and bit me four times. Just have a look at my back. Nancy, that girl must be arrested immediately!!"
This was Abigail's story.
I think she acted in the most stupid way. If she had died, she would have died a foolish death.
