How Can You Gain Friends If You Don't Talk To Strangers?

I know we all have our own definition to define what friends is. Can you give me your definition of it and why? For me, **Friends** are like an *****alarm clock.***** Why? Because they wake us up in the reality of life. Its like you are having a beautiful dreams or a nightmare then suddenly your alarm clock started to ring and in an instant you are back to your senses. Friends are like that. Let me give you an example. You know that life is hard sometimes, and you think that your life is harder than the others, you wanted to give up because you don't have the will to fight any more, in short you *loose your hope*. Your friends know your struggle and went to you, either they comfort you with nice words or harsh words, or sometimes slap you, that's their own way on waking you up. Whatever the situation is, either about life or love, they always went for us to wake us up. *How did it started? How did we met our true friends?* Lets see. When we were young, our parents always remind us **not to talk to stranger** when we are alone or outside. Yes, indeed that's very true, 'cause we can't guarantee that every person is good nor bad. In school, especially your first day, did your ever take your parents advice not to talk to stranger? I bet not, right? Because if you do, how can you gain friends if you don't talk to strangers? Honestly speaking, our friends of today, is once a stranger in the past. It all started by saying an awkward introduction and smile and slowly giving a gesture of kindness. Until we end up knowing each other. Understanding and accepting our flaws and differences. Sharing and keeping our little secrets. Advising and comforting one's self. Staying and sharing happiness and sadness. That's how we build our friendship. **A total stranger becomes one of the most treasure in our life and that's what we called** ***FRIENDS.*** I think what our parents meant about not talk to stranger is that we must choose the right person to trust so that in the end we can avoid getting hurt. Yep..it often happens that a stranger truns into a good friend. As days are passing by stranger persone becomes our family person. Nice one!
Yes. Without realizing we became attached to that person.
It just like here. We are total stranger, and we meet only here in read cash. But everytime I log in. I consider all of you not only the members but a friends that I can interact with. We have no face. We don't know each other personally. But our exchanging of articles and comments make us all closer to one another.

I think its not being judgemental, your just being careful. And sometimes we can easily tell if that person is nice.
