A Newbie Guide To Earning Bitcoin Cash Without Investing For Pinoys

I know there are already a lot of newbie guides for earning Bitcoin Cash out there. But I am writing this one as part of my drive to spread the awareness of Bitcoin Cash to my fellow Filipinos who don’t fully understand what cryptocurrency and bitcoin cash is all about.

I also wrote this as my way of inviting my friends who want to earn some extra money by earning Bitcoin Cash.

Before I continue, another disclaimer. I am not an expert in Bitcoin Cash and Cryptocurrency. (I can’t even type the word without misspelling it for about 90% of the time). In fact, I am just starting to understand this world of cryptocurrency. What I post is based on what I currently know and how I understand this subject.

What You Need To Start Earning

You don't need to buy any expensive devices to start earning. If you are reading this, then you already have the equipment you need.

• laptop, desktop, smartphone, or tablet, then you can use any of those.

• any web browser.

• Internet connection

• cryptocurrency wallet - which will be discussed later in this post.

Now let's discuss something that is most probably new to you.

What is Cryptocurrency?

Let’s discuss some things that you need to know, starting with some definitions.

If you look at the definition, the Oxford dictionary defines cryptocurrency as:

a digital currency in which transactions are verified and records maintained by a decentralized system using cryptography, rather than by a centralized authority.

"decentralized cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin now provide an outlet for personal wealth that is beyond restriction and confiscation"

OK, did you understand that? Neither did I. But I think this simple definition from Simple Wikipedia is more understandable...

A cryptocurrency is a type of currency that uses digital files as money (currency). Usually, the files are created using the same methods as cryptography (the science of hiding information). Digital signatures can be used to keep the transactions secure and let other people check that the transactions are real. The first cryptocurrencies were made to be independent of government-issued currencies

In other words, it’s digital money that is encrypted for security. Cryptocurrency is not regulated by any government, thus it is not affected by inflation or any country. Be aware though, that the value of any cryptocurrency changes often due to numerous factors.

What is Bitcoin Cash

Bitcoin Cash(BCH) is different from a (BTC). Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and the most popular. But Bitcoin Cash is a fork or a spin-off of Bitcoin,

As of the time of writing, the value of 1 BTC just skyrocketed to more than $1,000.00.

Be aware though that the value of Bitcoin Cash and any other cryptocurrency fluctuates frequently.

Where Do I Keep My Cryptocurrency?

Just as you carry cash in a wallet, to have a digital currency, you need a digital wallet. For Filipinos, CoinsPh is most widely used digital currency wallet.

How Much Do You Need To Invest To Start Earning BCH?

A few years ago, there was a group of persons who created a multi-level scheme for Bitcoin in the Philippines. In order to start earning Bitcoin, you need to join their “network”. Once installed, you need to verify your account by taking a selfie and uploading any government-issued ID or document.
