Memories have no season and every season has it's memories. We are blessed with life, and seasons makes life memorable and beautiful. The months of "ember" is marked with a sweet scent of Christmas, which happens to be in the last month of the "ember" month in the year. There is probably no "ember" without mentioning December. Also, there's no December without mentioning "Christmas" The big day for the big month.
On the big day of December, which happens tbe Christmas day, 70% of the world is put to celebration, love fills the air, indoors and outdoors celebration everywhere and everyone is happy. The song of the day is never forgotten "jingle bell" what a great and beautiful day.
It Christmas morning and little Dalek is running around the house yelling "merry Christmas, merry Christmas" to anything he could come across that breaths. He was so happy to see another Christmas. Dalek, age seven is the only child of his divorced mother Annie who is a baker and has just made some Christmas cake for her customers.
Dalek out of excitement, running and yelling "merry Christmas" by mistake hits his leg on a chair and fell directly into the already well decorated Christmas cake waiting for their tasty consumers.
Annie could not believe her eyes when she saw her son's cloth iced from the cake as he stood at a glance. What have you done Dalek? That was supposed to be delivered in few minutes she said infuriated. Once the cakes are delivered, we could go to the beach and have some fun; she continued. Little Dalek, as though nothing happened threw his clothes on the floor , dashed out to the bathroom to wash himself.
In the bathroom, he hears the Santa calling. He quickly washed himself and dashed out for the Santa but to his amazement , it was a voice recording playing by the next door. A neighbour.
He disappointedly walks back into the house asking his mom saying "mom when are we seeing Santa"? His mom replied by saying "not until you make the cake you squashed" Dalek just got to recognize what he caused his mother. The cake needs to be made. Someone has to go out for the Santa's gift. All these round rubbing on Dalek a head.
It noon already and the door bell rings. Annie opens the door to welcome her sister Emily. She has both hands heavy as she was seen carrying bags of Christmas gift. One for Annie and one for Dalek.
Dalek heard his aunt's voice and with excitement, yelled her name saying merry Christmas as he ran towards her to embrace her. He hits his leg again by the chair and fell on Emily's left side squashing her gifts. Woo! Everyone yelled as he stood up smiling to Emily. This is our gift you just wrecked again Dalek, what have you to say now? Nothing, Emily replied. As she picks up the bags with Dalek helping her. Dalek picks up a box, opens it and saw a Christmas note asking him to choose any option to visit for the day. Among the options was West coast quadrangle and the supermarket.
He was so happy to be visiting the Santa at the west coast quadrangle, where thousand of people come together from all around the world to share the love of Christmas. West coast quadrangle features so many entertainment and competition with hundreds of amazing prices to the winners.
Dalek made his choice as he chooses to visit the Quadrangle. His mother had wanted to compete in the cake making too at the quadrangle but had waited patiently for the right time. What a strike in the right time for her to express her talent and make her gift known to the world. She welcomed the choice and thanked Emily for the wonderful opportunity.
Christmas lunch is ready and they had to their satisfaction the tasty dish made by Annie. After that, everyone got ready for the next big show.
They all made it to the quadrangle and Annie took a ticket for the cake bakery competition. Dalek visited the Santa and got a lot of gifts for himself. He stayed close to mother waiting for the competition as he had always assisted her in baking. The time is now and the audience awaits for the competitors. Annie walks up with little Dalek behind and everyone was amazed to see the youngest baker on the planet. Dalek kept to the smile on his face even when the audience applauded him. "That my sweetheart" shouted Emily from a distance.
The competition kicks off, the time is set and the audience expecting wonders from Dalek who is the cynosure of all eyes. It towards the end of time and a beautifully done cake stands close to Annie and her son. They finished before time. What a striking performance by the assistance of the world youngest baker said the chief Judge. The time has elapsed and the judges are are up.
What's your name boy? I am Dalek.
How old are you? I am seven. Said Dalek.
Who's the lady you assisted to you? She's my mom; Dalek replied as the crowd chants his name.
Then the Judge asked him again saying..How long have you been baking? He smiled and replied .."my mom said I was a year old when I took interest in baking". The judge to his amazement was so impressed by their nice performance and a very sweet and we'll garnished cake made by them.
It time to announce the result of the bakery competition Annie and her son among other two were nominated for the finals. They all did great in the competition as they had a tie. The crowd was to vote for the best now and Annie was tagged number 3 in the finals.
The first was presented before the crowd her name is kyria. People chanted Dalek to her disqualification. This repeatedly happened til it was Annie's turn for the nomination. The Happy crowd was heard chanting Dalek's name in the air as finally, they won the competition and were crowned champions with there medal.
Annie she'd tears of joy as Emily stood by her side. What a Christmas for Dalek and a dream come true for Annie. They bagged their endorsement that changed their entire lives.
