Because all kinds of love are differently catalysed, each love uniquely affects us. Like a bouquet of flowers in which each flower contains a different representation, the types of love can have a similar effect.

We created eight love characters to represent the types of love found in every relationship. One thing we found surprising is that you can enhance all kinds of love with gift flowers.

The Ancient Greeks studied love and defined each type, giving each one a Greek name. Now it's time to meet every kind of love!

The kinds of Love:

1. Philia - Dear Love

Philia is love that has no romantic attraction and occurs between friends or family members. This occurs when the same person shares the same value and respects each other commonly referred to as "loving brotherhood."

Catalyst of Love:

The mind Your mind reveals which friends are at the longest of your length and who you can trust.

How to Show Philia:

  • Join in a deep conversation with a friend.

  • Be open and trustworthy.

  • Be supportive in difficult times.

2. Pragma - Lasting Love

Pragma is a unique bonded love that spans many years. It is an eternal love between a couple who chooses to put equal effort into their relationship. It takes commitment and dedication to reach “Pragma.” Instead of “falling in love,” you are “falling in love” with the partner you want next to you indefinitely.

Catalyst of Love: Etheric (Subconscious)

The subconscious drives partners towards each other. This feeling is unconscious and feels purposeful.

How to Show Pragma:

  • Continue to strengthen the bond of long-term relationships.

  • Ask and show effort to your partner.

  • Choose to let your partner work forever.

3. Storge - Familiar Love

Storge is a naturally occurring love rooted in parents and children, as well as best friends. It is an endless love built on acceptance and deep emotional connection. This love comes easily and immediately into parent-child relationships.

Catalyst of Love: Cause (Memories)

Your memories encourage lasting relationships with other individuals. As you create more memories, the value of your relationship will increase.

How to Show Storge:

  • Sacrifice your time, self or personal pleasure.

  • Quickly forgive abusive actions.

  • Share memorable and influential moments.

4. Eros - Romantic Love

Eros is an initial affection that comes from a natural instinct for most people. It is an emotional love expressed through physical affection. These romantic behaviors include, but are not limited to, kissing, hugging and holding hands. This love is a longing for another person’s physical body.

Catalyst of Love: Physical bodies (Hormones)

Your hormones are aroused by the fire in your body and should be filled with romantic actions from an admired partner.

How to Show Eros:

  • Admiration for a person's physical body.

  • Physical touch, such as hugging and kissing.

  • Romantic love.
