Feathered dinosaurs
Many feathered dinosaurs have been seen from the late Jurassic to the Cretaceous period fifteen million years ago. The combination of teeth, nails, claws and wings is a strange monster type. Carnivorous dinosaurs are called theropods. Stands on two legs, two small arms in front, these are theropod dinosaurs. T. Rex of this group. Some therapies had feathers, not all. Let's see some.
1. Archeopteryx: Fifteen million years ago, a one and a half feet tall giant lived in the forest. Almost the entire fossil has been found, with feather marks on the fossils. He had two nice wings, claws hidden under the wings. Many scientists think it could fly, though not very well.
Archeopteryx is said to be the ancestor of many modern birds. Ancient by the name of Archeo, Terex means wing. Archeopteryx means ancient wings. The birds, however, did not come from the T-rex at all, but from the feathered theropod.
2. Sinosreptrix: Sino means Chinese, sir means reptiles. This is the winged reptile of China. Thirteen million years ago, this three-foot-tall monster hunted in the jungles of China. Their fossils under the microscope show clear ostrich-like feathers.
3. Confucius: Ornis means bird. Its name means Confucius Bird. Named after the philosopher Confucius.
Its home is also in China. Confucius but did not have teeth like others, had lips like birds. The back had a long glittering tail. But even then there were claws under the wings. The paws may be hidden under the wings of the fairies, be careful!
4. Velociraptor: Who have you seen Jurassic World / Park? There were some dinosaurs that were small, intelligent, quite fierce, remember? They are velociraptors. Velocity means speed, raptor means thief. Its name means so fast thief.
The story is that the Velosyraptors did not look like a movie at all, they were like what happens when you imagine a terrifying carnivorous eagle with teeth, wings and claws. The six-and-a-half-foot-tall body was filled with violence. Small animals could be caught and torn.
5. Therizinosaurus: Think this time, a giant monster 36 feet tall, with 30-inch sword-like claws, fan feathers and teeth. But the teeth are small, like the teeth of a cow. This hattimatim team ate plants, and someone would actually hit them with two and a half feet long nails. They were seen in the forest 80 million years ago.
The word Therizinosaurus means reptile in the scythe. For long nails like a cast.
So far today. One thing needs to be cleared before finishing. The wingless monsters that flew like planes with long wings like bats, they are not dinosaurs, but pterosaurs. Birds evolved from feathered dinosaurs, not pterosaurs. Their story can be told another day.
