Winter's Special Sweet Balls

H friends, hope you all are good. Sweet is such a food which everyone likes so much. Today I am going to share a very healthy sweet recipe which is my mom's favorite. My mom always makes this sweet for all the family in winters, which is seriously very healthy as well as tasty. Mostly sweet foods are unhealthy due tk extra suga but this sweet is safe. Its name is sweet flaxseed balls.

Its preparation required some extra time due to the preparation of many ingredients. Actually when mom prepared these balls, i noted each and every point and captured it also.

First Step

First we need to clarify flaxseed from impurities and put it in a pan and roast it on a medium flame for 15 minutes by continuously stirring. When flaxseed starts to produce a tip top then it means it's fully roasted. Now let it aside to cool down.

Second Step

Second is the turn of whole wheat flour. Same like flaxseeds, we need to roast flour till light brown color by constant stirring. It's very necessary to fully roast both ingredients, because if they remain uncooked, then there is no proper taste in the balls.

Third Step

Now it's time to grind flax seeds into a fine powder as well as grinding of dry fruits like almonds, peanuts and coconut.

Fourth Step

It's time for brown sugar syrup preparation. For this preparation we need to add almost 5 to 6 tablespoons of clarified butter in a pan and then add 2 cups of brown sugar with a little bit of water and stir well. The quantity of sweet is up to you, how much you like you can add.

Fifth Step

In this second last step, we need to mix dry fruits powder and whole resins in the brown sugar syrup and at the same time add powder of flaxseed and whole wheat flour and mix all ingredients well with the help of a big spatula. Now take it off the stove and wait about 5 minutes to cool it, because much cooling is not required, in this case we can't mold it into balls.

Sixth Step

Now it's the final step of making a ball of this healthy mixture. You can make balls of any size which you like. Mom makes medium sized balls. Now we can save it in an airtight container for 1 to 2 month easily and can enjoy it as a healthy snack with tea.

Flaxseed are too much healthy as, it is a good source of omega 3 fatty acids as well as it is rich in fibers.

Flaxseed is a healthy source of protein as well and it cut down bad body cholesterol. Flaxseed aids in weight loss because it makes you fuller for longer.
