Sometimes life becomes very stressful due to different activities like grocery shopping, dealing with every relationship, taking care of kids, traveling in high traffic and many other daily activities. No doubt we all do these things very happily but sometimes we become so stressed but it's normal. But I think there are a lot of ways that can help us to normalize our mood and minimize the stress levels. Actually stress is an outcome which is produced as a result of competition of our body and brain with the different challenges. Little stress in life is ok, but if it persists then it can lead to serious health issues like anxiety and depression. In my daily routine I also follow these tricks to better my mood. So let's start;
Time with Friends
Good friends are very important for our good health because good friends help us to celebrate our great times and support us during bad times. Friends provide us with great companionship and prevent us from loneliness because friends are a crucial element for good mental health. Friends always make us laugh, laughter is good for us. It improves mood, reduces stress and may even boost our overall health. If you’re having a hard time try catching up with a friend to bring those stress hormones down like cortisol and adrenaline. So always try to build a good relationship with your friends to live happy and healthy.
Nature Beauty
Natural beautiful places like water, trees, mountains, rivers, beaches and plants are very fascinating to our eyes naturally. Nature beauty helps in emotional regulation and improves brain functions. When we spend time outside, we are more mindful of what we see around, what we hear, what we smell, and what we feel. There is different evidence that shows that strong environmental connections are related to better performance, heightened concentration, and reduced chances of developing Attention Deficit Disorder which is a very harmful disorder for our mental health. I think nature trip is always more helpful in calming the brain as compared to watching a series on Netflix. Always try spending every weekend on the beach with your family, and see the difference it can make in calming your mind, and you start your Monday with full attention because you’ll feel more relaxed and fired up to work.
Banana and Chocolate
Actually, a hormone which is called serotonin is naturally produced in our body, serotonin’s most important function is balancing mood. Sometimes our body does not produce the amount of this hormone that is required for proper functioning, so we feel anxiety and stress. Bananas are not only mood lifters, they have a lot of other nutritional miracles like, Bananas are also a rich source of potassium, which is an electrolyte that supports nerve cells, the heart and other muscles. Having minimum potassium in your diet can contribute to different health problems, including high blood pressure and abnormal heart rhythms.
Same chocolates especially dark chocolate also play a very important role in improving the mood. Dark chocolate is connected with many health benefits like, this sweet treat improves cardiovascular health, and improves blood pressure. Actually, flavonoids is a chemical which is present in dark chocolate that stimulates the endothelium which is the lining of arteries, to produce nitric oxide, and nitric oxide relaxes the arteries by signals transmission which ultimately reduces blood pressure.
