Today I'm going I'm going to talk about the foods that are good for our digestion. I decided to come up with this kind of article after I experienced poor digestion and it affected me so much and that is why I realized that I should be careful in everything that I eat. I should not consumed too much processed foods as those foods will not bring any good in you as years will passes by.
We are all familiar with constipation and we all have times in our lives where we experienced it and it's very unlucky if it hits you in the times you needed to go out or had some important occasions to attend. It would be awkward and difficult to interact as your stomach is upset with you. We know that it is because of the foods that we eat which gives us an upset stomach. Sometimes it is our lifestyle that affect how our digestion works properly. The severe one would lead into Chronic idiopathic constipation where your bowel movements are affected. It affects your physical interaction and other activities in life. No one wants it to happen in those special times in their lives. Imagine you don't have the courage to eat your favorite foods and go hang out with your friends. This idea is really bad and the feeling is never been good at all. But the good thing about this kind of thing is that you can still relieve it meaning you can still find ways to stop and bring your life in a good way again!
Of course the first thing we need to know and should always know is to Drink water always. It is very important and we are required to drink at least 8 glasses of water to stay hydrated all the day. But in some situations, it is not good to drink too sugary carbonated drinks as they will most likely to worsen the constipation and your bowel movement will become more irritated so it's no doubt that water is the real winner after all. If you are still not satisfied, lacking enough in water will make you dehydrated thus it will give you constipation espescially when you overeating. So think the best and bring water wherever you go!
Don't also forget to eat more fiber. Yes you heard it right the Fiber.
Vegetables are rich in fiber including wheat bran as well as whole grains. These are foods that are easily digested in our body system. Not only fibers but adding exercise is important in your routine to relieve constipation. Exercising can help your digestive system work properly but take note you don't have to do heavy exercises. This can worsen some situations. Take it easy and lighter. Just walking, swimming or cycling is very enough kind of exercise not only to your digestive system but to your whole body as well.
Another thing to consider is to take some Probiotics. If you do not know about the purpose of Probiotics or what they are made of, well they are Lactobacillus or live bacteria that helps improve the guts. You could get some Probiotics from eating Kimchi, Yogurt and Sauerkraut.
Avoid Dairy consumption as this will worsen the bowel movement. Consuming too much lactose will goes into the large intestines of our body thus constipation will worsen. We know that calcium is important for the bones strengthening but those are not only found in milk, they can also be found in almonds, soybeans, leafy greens, broccoli, sesame seeds and tofu!
A happy digestion is a happy life. Sometimes they can be confusing and sometimes they can be disappointing to our daily lives routine espescially when it immediately strikes. We need to change into healthy eating habits so that we won't have regrets later on. Learn to quite binge eating or overeating espescially at night. People sometimes don't focus on how much they chew their food espescially when they are on the go or very busy. The truth is the more your chew your food, the better it will be broken properly and down in your digestive tract.
Happy digestion is a happy life. I wish i have a good stomach. I have stomach pain for almost 1 year and 7 months and i'm having a surgery by the end of the month, i hope it gets better. Take care of your stomach guys and eat healthy
