1) Multiple pregnancies
Multiple pregnancies increase the chances of split or double pregnancies. After the first time, it becomes much easier to hold, so, twins are more likely to be sure.
2) Physical type of woman
Research has shown that taller and heavier women have a better chance of giving birth to twins. Women on well-nutritious diets are just as likely to have twins.
3) Genealogy
Genetics does a lot when it comes to twins. If a relative has already given birth to twins, then some of the next generation is likely to give birth to twins.
4) Age factor
Usually 30+ women develop follicle hormones which increase the chances of having twins. Levels of this hormone support the release of large amounts of eggs during ovulation, increasing the chances of having more than one baby.
5) Ethnology
Women of European or African descent are more likely to have twins.
6) The interval between pregnancies
Multiple pregnancies can increase the chances of having twins, but keeping a sufficient distance between two pregnancies reduces the chances of having twins.
6) Containment during breastfeeding
Prolactin is a substance that is produced during breastfeeding in women. This ingredient increases the chances of getting pregnant and having children.
6) Finish taking birth control pills
When someone stops taking birth control pills, their body inevitably starts producing high amounts of hormones. At this stage, when the woman's body tries to find her normal balance, her chances of giving birth to twins increase.
9) Dairy products
Most growth hormones are found in cow's milk and other dairy products made from milk, so anyone who wants to have twins can increase their use of these products.
10) Foods full of zinc or zinc
Since zinc-rich foods accelerate sperm production, the partner should be fed more of them. There is a high probability of helping twins in the phencidation process.
11) Protein
Whole grains, tofu, soy isovlavones, and especially yams help to hyper-stimulate the female ovaries, increasing the chances of twins.
12) Folic acid
It is known to prevent nerve tube defects, so it is advisable to take a supplement. One study found that women who consumed more folic acid were 40% more likely to have twins than normal. Also, if someone in the mother's lineage has given birth to twins before, her chances of having twins are greatly increased.
Why children are twins
In the mother's body, usually only one egg is released from any one of the two ovaries at the same time. If one ovum is released from each of the two ovaries at the same time, then during the ovulation period there are a total of two ovaries in her body. At this time, the male sperm fertilizes both eggs. A fertilized egg first divides into two separate cells. The next time a baby is born from each cell.
Since the two cells here were formerly one cell, all their genes remain the same. This is why they are identical in appearance and of the same sex. This is how a non-identical twin baby is born. These children may not always be the same sex and they may look different.
Types of twins:
Monozygotic or Identical Twin
In this case an ovum is released from one of the two ovaries and fertilized by the sperm to form a zygote, but through a complex division process it later divides into two equal parts, then twins are born. In this way, more twins can be born. As a zygote splits into twins in this manner, their characteristic and structural features become almost identical. Even their closest relatives are struggling to identify them. You can call them absolutely carbon copies.
Dysygotic or different or Non-identical Twin
It is also called fraternal twin. In this case, two are released from the ovary of a woman in place of one ovum. Each of these two eggs is fertilized by separate sperm to form two zygotes, from which twins are born. As the characteristics and structural features of these twin children differ, the blood groups may also differ or become similar again.
There are also two more complicated type twins-
Almost identical or Semi – identical twin
Conjoined twin
Semi-identical twin
Sometimes an ovum is fertilized by two sperm. It is possible that the zygote divides into equal parts with the sperm after it has been fertilized by two sperms before, or it may be that an ovum has already split in two and fertilized by two different sperms. The characteristics of the genes inherited from the mothers of these semi-identical twins are similar but the characteristics of the genes inherited from the fathers differ between the twin children due to two different sperm gains.
Conjoined twin
Just as twins are a source of joy and anxiety for every human being, twins can cut the scars of boundless suffering. Although they are of the monozygotic type, these twins have been associated with each other since birth. The zygote cannot be completely different in this case. Some organ pairs are attached. Their numbers are so small that only 3% of the world's population. Modern medical science has succeeded in isolating these twin children through various surgeries, but its examples are negligible. In most cases the world is left in the throes of death during surgery.
