Russia Vs. Ukraine: Everyone praying for the End
Introduction:
This is not about my favorite superstition beliefs, it is all about the War between the two countries the Russia and Ukraine. We all know that there's a war between this two countries, almost everyone give their sympathy to Ukraine because almost nothing left to their country and some people angry to what Russian President do, but we do really know what's happening to them right now? Does news is enough to know the truth? Or do you think you know everything about their war just because you are lessening or reading some news that you're just see on social media?
We always lessen to majorities, because the majority says you lessen, but what if that majorities knows nothing but spreading some fake news? And that majorities only want you to look like a fool because you lessen and follow them? This is what happening now, everyone share their own opinions to different issues in the world without do some research to know the truth behind that issue. Let's know the two country first. What is really going on with Russia and Ukraine? Does Russia is into Ukraine just to have power?
Russia
Russia is the largest country in the Europe and it almost own the one-eighty of the Earth's land Mass with the estimated area over 17.13 million sqm. The capital of Russia is Moscow, Russia on 2020 survey reach 144.1 million population. From 1922-1991, Russia used to be the main part of Union of Soviet Socialist Republic or Soviet Union before it was a country based on communism but today it's government is a Federal Semi-presidential Republic. Russia contains Europe’s longest river, the Volga, and its largest lake, Ladoga and the world’s deepest lake, Baikal. Russia has more than 120 other ethnic groups present, The Russian republic was established immediately after the Russian Revolution of 1917 and became a union republic in 1922. During the post-World War II era, Russia was a central player in international affairs, locked in a Cold War struggle with the United States. In 1991, following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Russia joined with several other former Soviet republics to form a loose coalition, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine started when Soviet Union ended in 1991. Ukraine and Russia is two of the fifteen republics that broke free and formed their own governments. But President Putin has always maintained Ukraine should be part of Russia. In 2014, President Viktor Yanukovych in his term he refused to sign the deal with Europe in favor of closer ties with Russia. Soon after, Ukraine's interim President Alexander Turchinov signed an association agreement with the EU. The day President Putin return he want to taking over Crimea, a former Soviet republic that had been part of Ukraine since 1954. That same year, pro-Russian militants established a stronghold in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine.
In his February 24, 2022, predawn address to the public, President Putin is particularly concerned about Ukraine's desire to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), The purpose of the consortium of 30 countries is to guarantee the freedom and security of its members through political and military means. President Putin believes that Ukraine's acceptance into NATO would threaten Russia's borders and its sphere of influence. So Russian force started the attacks on Ukraine, many Ukrainian and other people need to leave Ukraine for their own safety, almost nothing left to Ukraine because of the Russian attack. But because Ukraine is not officially member of NATO, the members cannot send forces to help them against Russia, but they do something to help Ukraine. On February 22, 2022, the EU, the US, the UK, and Canada all agreed to block Russia from accessing its foreign reserves. They also made it harder for the country to receive funds from pro-Russian countries like China by cutting out some banks from the international global payments system, SWIFT. Meanwhile, Switzerland, which has historically remained in the middle during conflicts, announced it was freezing all assets owned by Russian individuals and companies. Last Monday February 28,2022, five days after the Moscow attack it's neighbor Ukraine, the Peace talk between the two countries began. Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar shared information about the estimated losses of the Russian army from Feb. 24 to Feb. 28. Maliar claimed that the Ukrainian army killed around 5,300 Russian troops, destroyed 29 warplanes, 29 helicopters, 191 tanks, 816 armored combat vehicles, 74 guns, and two ships/motorboats. She added that Russian forces also lost a Buk anti-aircraft missile system, 21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems, 291 vehicles, 60 cisterns, five AAD assets, and three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Conclusion
Does really war is the the answer to get what you want? I don't know what happened to the peace talk with this two countries but I'm one of a billion people around the world that silently praying for the best and for the end of this war between them. I don't know which news that I should be lessening to know what is really happening to the both country. We can't judge the both country by just watching some news and reading some articles. If I can change this world I only want is the world Peace but I know God let it happen for some reason, he has a reason. Let's be fair in both side.
