What is recovery seed phrase?

Seed phrase is basically words and some text which is used to recover your wallet and amount if you logout and shift your device then you need to enter those words to get your amount back .

Importance of recovery seed phrase

Most of people's don't know how important recovery phases are and ignore this things i also did this when i was new in community i don't know about anything related to recovery phase but when i tried to login my wallet on other phone then i understand what it is and. How it works . as i explain in previous paragraph what is recovery phase so let's move on next . recovery phase are very important part of crypto wallet and everyone has seperate seed phrase text and these text are only 12 but everyone got different words . if you're using bitcoin.com wallet then do this thing to save your seed phrase .

You will see different words on screen all you need to do is take screenshot or write those words in your notepad, notebook etc .

QR option is also available you can easily recover through this step so easily take screenshot or QR and send it to other device. When you need to give recovery phrase just go and open that screenshot and scan QR your amount will be back on your wallet .

Cloud backup

When you create your account on bitcoin.com wallet they ask you for a backup and you have to provide gmail after providing gmail your all data backup file created on your android . do these steps to secure your data

Go to setting
Security centre
Export wallet file
Send on WhatsApp number,gmail or anywhere you want

After doing this you can recover your wallet any where any time just open file in your android and all data will be restored into your mobile.

Is your amount safe on wallet?

The bitcoin.com wallet is a non custodial wallet . means that no one can access your asset's but you .

This also means that you are solely responsible for keeping your wallet safe and secure . don't give any one your passwords email most importantly your seed phrase never show your seed phrase to anyone otherwise you have risk to lose your all amount .

So i will recommend you to always backup your wallet on cloud so in case if you lose your device you can login back with help of backup.

How to recover your amount if you don't have seed phrase

I saw people's don't have seed phrase and lost there all amounts. Coz there is no way backup your account if you don't have 12 words seed phrase or you will loss your all savings in one seconds. Wallet has no control over your private key's or any transaction made they cannot restore your wallet. But things you should do to recover your money

These two things can help you get money your back as i already explain these two things in previous paragraphs. If you didn't have anything so there is no way to back your amount . so please must do important things otherwise you will lose all your hardwork and money in one second.

How to restore your wallet from seed phrase

Open bitcoin.com wallet
Tap on the"+" symbol to the right of your bitcoin wallet
Now tap on "import wallet"
Enter your 12-word backup phrase and select the coin, BTC or BCH, for the wallet you want to import
Once you have entered all 12 words correctly,tap"import"
If you have all the steps correctly your bitcoin.com wallet will now be restored and all your amount and data will back

When entering your phrase all words must be lowercase with a single space between them, and no space after the final word.

My friend lost her all earnings in one second

She lost her 3 weeks earning in just one second and we all are shocked when she posted this sad news . how this is happen with her and she lost 25$ + amount in just one second .

She use laptop and she made wallet on emulator coz she don't have mobile so emulator is best choise for her things are going well and suddenly her laptop show's some issue and hang for a while after waiting sometime she decided to shut down laptop and then restart her laptop and start emulator and checked wallet she tried to open wallet but it's not opening she tried again and what she saw , there's option to create new wallet again there . that moment is heartbreaking moment for her coz she didn't saved backup or saved restore phrase. Imagine you're in her place and happened to you how you feel then?

So telling this story means take this thing serious and do backup save seed phrase in safe place . if in case such thing happen you have no fear to lose your amount .
