Fear is a natural thing that happens to every human being. Whether it's fear when you want to take an exam, watch a horror movie, or be afraid of other things. Fear itself comes from ourselves. Fear can occur in two stages, namely a biochemical reaction and an emotional response. When afraid, some people give several signs such as excessive sweating, suddenly pale face, can't stay still, some even get out of control.

Biochemical reactions occur as in the case of being afraid to speak in public and also performing a major operation. While the emotional response, fear can occur such as panic, anxiety, and avoid something.

Whatever happens, excessive fear is not good. Therefore, there are several ways to overcome excessive fear, including:

Give time for the body to calm down

The first thing to do to avoid excessive fear is to find time for the body to calm down. Examples include taking a deep breath, drinking a sip of water, and also diverting the fear by leaning against a wall or listening to appropriate music.

Before we know how to overcome excessive fear, we must also investigate first why the fear occurs. That way you can control something that scares you or avoid it.

Build self-confidence

The next thing to do is build self-confidence. Although it seems difficult to do, we must develop it because one way to overcome excessive fear is to be more confident and believe that we ourselves are capable or able.

Think positive

Excessive fear can arise because of negative thoughts that suddenly appear. Therefore, to be able to eliminate fear, you also need to think positively. Assume that everything will be fine. Then it will make your fear less.
