Mental Block, An Activity Barrier
Mental blocks are walls that we imaginatively build in front of us, they are invisible, but in fact impenetrable when we try to get past them. such is the analogy.
Mental block is usually caused by parenting. The rest is due to past traumas that you have experienced. From parenting, for example, children are often prohibited from being intimidated, such as "never touch that thing" or "never go through that road" and others. As a result, the child is afraid to take risks when he grows up.
He already believes that new things are dangerous for him. If from trauma, for example, a child who was bullied by his teacher in class becomes lazy to deal with his lessons while studying in class. Or he was bullied by his friends for wearing new clothes, so he was more comfortable wearing old clothes. Buying new clothes, he keeps it for a long time before he wears it, something like that.
What I discussed in front of my friends while gathering at my house some time ago was about subconscious voices like the one above that we are rarely aware of. We think it's all normal. It turned out to be seen by other people so strange.
It is even worse if the habit disturbs the people around him, for example, he likes to remind him to eat healthy because he has received a "sermon" about healthy eating from his mother since he was a child. This mother lost her husband because of illness so she didn't want to lose her child. Be him like that.
then, how to see the characteristics of people who experience mental block? Well, mental block can be suspected from several attitudes that show self-sabotage or patterns of self-destruction. There are many and varied patterns of self-sabotage. I'll just take a few examples:
