Until now, Indonesian does not have a loan word from this phubbing. Even though we ourselves often do phubbing. For example, when talking to a teller at a bank, our hands are playing with a gadget. I often see this and even I myself also do the same thing to reduce boredom while waiting.

When accompanying children to do schoolwork, once every one minute we glance at the cellphone screen in case there is an incoming notification.

At the moment of eating alone in a restaurant with his wife, which is happening now. The cellphone is placed as close as possible to our side and is able to interrupt any chat when there is a sound message from social media.
