We are part of a hallucination

According to a peculiar philosophical position, the world could end when we stop imagining that it exists. Solipsism is a doctrine that "I am the only mind that exists." The only reality is my thought and the set of my mental states. In other words, everything I experience (physical objects, other people, events and processes, that is, all the reality of space and time) is my own elaboration. In this way, the world could end when my consciousness ceased to exist. Although the position has been widely criticized over the centuries, it is the source of inspiration for all modern theories that we inhabit a virtual world, a subjective realm devoid of material reality.
