The Invigorating Charm of San Remegio Beach Club in Cebu, Philippines
Our school held a faculty team building earlier this week. All the teachers were buzzing with anticipation since this was the first team building exercise they had ever participated in that was led by an experienced Team Building Facilitator. Instead of having games and activities that would strengthen more our team, our so-called Team building usually merely consisted of traveling, eating, and enjoying the moment together outside of the school site. The situation was novel and exciting this time around.
While I did like the many team-building exercises, I must admit that the San Remegio Beach Club, situated on Cebu's longest stretch of beachfront, was the main draw for me.

We took a vote on where to have our Team Building before the school made a final decision. When San Remegio Beach Club came out on top, I couldn't have been happier. I've always wanted to see the Resort for myself, to believe the rumors of its peaceful and picturesque atmosphere.
At 10:00 PM, when we got there, everything was just getting started. I think I was in around four of the games. Everyone was laughing and having a great time. If you ask me, our squad was the most boisterous and enthusiastic, whereas the other seemed dead set on winning at all costs. There was a lot of hilarity during the event. We let our inner children out to play.
The Cafeteria
Immediately following the game, we dined on an unlimited buffet featuring two "Lechon" (roasted pigs). What an exciting experience it was to dine in such a magnificent dining hall, surrounded by such beautiful people, and have such delicious food. Completely gratifying. (Burp!)
After a hearty lunch, I finally felt able to unwind. (Haha). As my gaze traveled the hall, I chuckled to myself. The woven mats and baskets artfully created on the ceiling gave the restaurant a rustic yet refined air, and the native wood carvings, jars, and brown baskets gave it a homey yet exotic feel that I really enjoy. Lastly, the illumination! I find it absolutely fascinating.
We had another activity led by the Facilitators at 1 p.m. This time, we participated in challenging yet enjoyable pursuits like ziplining, rappelling, and wall climbing, as well as other games like "find the exit in the Maze."
I didn't take part in any of them because I didn't feel like getting my heart rate up; I'm not afraid of heights, but I just didn't feel like doing it. Anyhow, it was no longer a "by-team game," but rather an individual activity provided to help us make the most of our time at the resort. There, I learned that I much prefer outdoor activities over artificial ones, such as indoor rock climbing and rappelling. As a result, I went for a stroll on the beach and through the resort grounds. To just consider it has me giddy with anticipation. So I got out of there and started strolling around aimlessly.
Beach Club San Remo
San Remegio Beach Club in Cebu, Philippines, is a terrific place to unwind and breathe some new air. They have a pool, a seminar room, a playground for the kids, and a special lanai, among other amenities.
Surprisingly for a beach club, there are a lot of trees and plants growing inside of it, creating an environment similar to that of a forest combined with the relaxing sound of lapping waves. It's like being at the beach or the forest at the same time. It's a certain that everyone would adore a trip to the San Remegio Beach Club.
It seemed to me as I strolled around that there were numerous Halls, Patios, and Benches available. Unique benches and patios can be found throughout the Beach Resort, beckoning guests to take a load off and rest. You won't feel the blazing heat of the sun here, and the abundance of bamboo trees and other large trees creates a pleasant breeze that will have you rocking gently in a hammock as you go off to sleep.
I noticed a metal globe in the middle of the bamboo grove when I was standing on the open ground of the beach club. You'll find a metal bench with a seaside view at its heart. After a while of standing, I sat down to take in the scenery. When I read it, my stress levels dropped. That break did me some good.
Walking farther, I came to this lobby in front of the ocean, with benches tucked away in every nook and cranny under a canopy of trees. The lobby was probably built after the trees were already established.
It was the little patio off the lobby with the white curtains flapping in the breeze that I liked best. It was sophisticated and alluring, like a beachside dinner date. It appears that the lobby would be a great location for an open party or event thanks to the presence of a stage in the center. How does it appear after dark with all the lights on? Possibly romantic?
I made it to the beach club's corner, where a collection of brightly colored benches waited. These brightly painted benches really brightened up that nook of the resort. Visit here for a fun day at the beach with the gang or a family vacation. There's no need to seek refuge from the sun here; this area is generously tree-shaded. Guests will find this area of the resort to be both visually appealing and warm.
Round benches lined up in rows on top of a wall that seemed to extend to the horizon were another attractive feature of this stretch of beach. We also provide users with chairs and tables. Water in San Remegio's famed beaches is pristine because the sand is so fine.
A large swimming pool, suitable for both children and adults, is another resort highlight. Trees and benches make up the perimeter of this swimming pool, setting it apart from others. As a result, you can relax on the beach and take in the scenery if swimming isn't your thing. Benches of woven rattan can be found around the pool. It comes in a wide variety of sizes and designs.
The Resort's centerpiece is a white building with an open metal top that houses a fountain. In fact, green vines are already scaling their walls. It seemed like a memorial to a well-known figure, and that's what my first impression was. All around the structure are flowering planters.
After taking a look around, I realized that this spot was made specifically for unwinding. Relaxing ocean views help relieve tension. There are patios and benches tucked away in every corner of the property, from the garden to the side of the wall outside the reception area to the beachfront to the poolside to the shaded areas beneath the trees. The atmosphere practically begs you to take a break, relax, and take pleasure in life for a little while.
