The Invigorating Charm of San Remegio Beach Club in Cebu, Philippines Our school held a faculty team building earlier this week. All the teachers were buzzing with anticipation since this was the first team building exercise they had ever participated in that was led by an experienced Team Building Facilitator. Instead of having games and activities that would strengthen more our team, our so-called Team building usually merely consisted of traveling, eating, and enjoying the moment together outside of the school site. The situation was novel and exciting this time around. While I did like the many team-building exercises, I must admit that the San Remegio Beach Club, situated on Cebu's longest stretch of beachfront, was the main draw for me. png 20220818 212034 0000.png We took a vote on where to have our Team Building before the school made a final decision. When San Remegio Beach Club came out on top, I couldn't have been happier. I've always wanted to see the Resort for myself, to believe the rumors of its peaceful and picturesque atmosphere. At 10:00 PM, when we got there, everything was just getting started. I think I was in around four of the games. Everyone was laughing and having a great time. If you ask me, our squad was the most boisterous and enthusiastic, whereas the other seemed dead set on winning at all costs. There was a lot of hilarity during the event. We let our inner children out to play. The Cafeteria Immediately following the game, we dined on an unlimited buffet featuring two "Lechon" (roasted pigs). What an exciting experience it was to dine in such a magnificent dining hall, surrounded by such beautiful people, and have such delicious food. Completely gratifying. (Burp!) After a hearty lunch, I finally felt able to unwind. (Haha). As my gaze traveled the hall, I chuckled to myself. The woven mats and baskets artfully created on the ceiling gave the restaurant a rustic yet refined air, and the native wood carvings, jars, and brown baskets gave it a homey yet exotic feel that I really enjoy. Lastly, the illumination! I find it absolutely fascinating. We had another activity led by the Facilitators at 1 p.m. This time, we participated in challenging yet enjoyable pursuits like ziplining, rappelling, and wall climbing, as well as other games like "find the exit in the Maze." I didn't take part in any of them because I didn't feel like getting my heart rate up; I'm not afraid of heights, but I just didn't feel like doing it. Anyhow, it was no longer a "by-team game," but rather an individual activity provided to help us make the most of our time at the resort. There, I learned that I much prefer outdoor activities over artificial ones, such as indoor rock climbing and rappelling. As a result, I went for a stroll on the beach and through the resort grounds. To just consider it has me giddy with anticipation. So I got out of there and started strolling around aimlessly. Beach Club San Remo San Remegio Beach Club in Cebu, Philippines, is a terrific place to unwind and breathe some new air. They have a pool, a seminar room, a playground for the kids, and a special lanai, among other amenities. Surprisingly for a beach club, there are a lot of trees and plants growing inside of it, creating an environment similar to that of a forest combined with the relaxing sound of lapping waves. It's like being at the beach or the forest at the same time. It's a certain that everyone would adore a trip to the San Remegio Beach Club. It seemed to me as I strolled around that there were numerous Halls, Patios, and Benches available. Unique benches and patios can be found throughout the Beach Resort, beckoning guests to take a load off and rest. You won't feel the blazing heat of the sun here, and the abundance of bamboo trees and other large trees creates a pleasant breeze that will have you rocking gently in a hammock as you go off to sleep. I noticed a metal globe in the middle of the bamboo grove when I was standing on the open ground of the beach club. You'll find a metal bench with a seaside view at its heart. After a while of standing, I sat down to take in the scenery. When I read it, my stress levels dropped. That break did me some good. Walking farther, I came to this lobby in front of the ocean, with benches tucked away in every nook and cranny under a canopy of trees. The lobby was probably built after the trees were already established. It was the little patio off the lobby with the white curtains flapping in the breeze that I liked best. It was sophisticated and alluring, like a beachside dinner date. It appears that the lobby would be a great location for an open party or event thanks to the presence of a stage in the center. How does it appear after dark with all the lights on? Possibly romantic? I made it to the beach club's corner, where a collection of brightly colored benches waited. These brightly painted benches really brightened up that nook of the resort. Visit here for a fun day at the beach with the gang or a family vacation. There's no need to seek refuge from the sun here; this area is generously tree-shaded. Guests will find this area of the resort to be both visually appealing and warm. Round benches lined up in rows on top of a wall that seemed to extend to the horizon were another attractive feature of this stretch of beach. We also provide users with chairs and tables. Water in San Remegio's famed beaches is pristine because the sand is so fine. A large swimming pool, suitable for both children and adults, is another resort highlight. Trees and benches make up the perimeter of this swimming pool, setting it apart from others. As a result, you can relax on the beach and take in the scenery if swimming isn't your thing. Benches of woven rattan can be found around the pool. It comes in a wide variety of sizes and designs. The Resort's centerpiece is a white building with an open metal top that houses a fountain. In fact, green vines are already scaling their walls. It seemed like a memorial to a well-known figure, and that's what my first impression was. All around the structure are flowering planters. After taking a look around, I realized that this spot was made specifically for unwinding. Relaxing ocean views help relieve tension. There are patios and benches tucked away in every corner of the property, from the garden to the side of the wall outside the reception area to the beachfront to the poolside to the shaded areas beneath the trees. The atmosphere practically begs you to take a break, relax, and take pleasure in life for a little while.

A Great adventure Is In The Discovery And Ascent Of A Previously Unknown Mountain "Get the good news from the top of the mountains. Like the way sunlight seeps into trees, so will the calm of nature seep into you ". - William Arthur Ward When I finally made it to the peak, the light and the mountains offered me a spectacular welcome. The trek and ascent were difficult and unfamiliar, but the reward at the peak was worth every step. The mountain never fails to astound me and comfort me. When I was near mountains, I felt the most at one with nature. Something unrelated. In the 'Ber' months, two of my kids came sprinting up to me with their most animated expressions. They are to complete the assignment I assigned to them. Since Christmas is coming up soon, it's time to start looking for a tall tree with many of limbs to use as a DIY tree in our classroom. I thought they would appear worn out and disheveled from carrying the tree, but they didn't. They reported back, full of joy and excitement, that they had found an ideal mountain for climbing, the view from the top of which they could not even begin to describe. Even they were at a loss to identify it. To say I was intrigued is an understatement. If you had to climb, would you see anything? Naaaahhh. Whatever. I couldn't wait to go to the top and take in the view! Meanwhile, the PE12 (Physical Education for Grade 12) Curriculum Guide at the time mandated that students participate in mountaineering for both physical and mental health. (Ting! The Light Is On!) Then I packed up my things and started out on an expedition to this unidentified peak. Now the fun can begin! We left around 7:30 a.m., brimming with vitality and excitement for the voyage ahead. Sunshine and pleasant temperatures characterized the day. As we set off on our journey, everyone was in high spirits. We walked past a little pond that was hemmed in by trees. Carabaos would cool off in this artificial pond by submerging their entire bodies. We came across a straight-line planted Mahogany tree not far from the pond. At first view, it looks like the gateway to a secret facility. These two views boosted our motivation to continue the ascent. We had been hiking for approximately an hour when we finally reached this lovely open area. A chicken coop in the middle of the field. From afar, this is one of my favorite scenes ever. The rural landscape is depicted here in all its simplicity and grandeur. Another sight we came across was a log resting on the side of the road; with the open field and the beautiful sky as a backdrop, I didn't hesitate to strike a few postures and take a few pictures. "Country road, take me home, to the place where I belong🎶🎶". These tunes started playing in my head while I walked. To prepare myself mentally for what lay ahead of us on our ascent, I focused on maintaining my composure and appreciating the present moment. When we got to the far end of the field, we noticed an old, damaged motorcycle sitting by the roadside, shaded by an Acacia tree. Taking another photo of me on the old bike was a must. Char! My pupil informed me that we had reached the base of the mountain. In the middle of our journey, we stopped beside a deep well to refill our water bottles. The climb🌄 After that, we began our ascent. My initial impression of the mountain was that it wouldn't be too challenging to traverse on foot because of the many trails that wound their way up and down the slopes. When I looked around the mountain's rim, I didn't notice any signs of human habitation, so I wondered if anyone had ever lived there. Trees and rocks abounded on the ascent, but the trees were often little and short. The trail was lined with verdant vegetation because of all the shrubs. I was relieved to find that the path was not too steep or arduous to ascend. Many of my students were 1st-time climbers, and I worried about them until they reassured me that they could scale mountains with greater ease than trained professionals. The mountain's path was rather easy to hike and climb. The most challenging part of the ascent was actually the last 10%, when we reached the mountain's steepest side. The rocky route was treacherously narrow and muddy. The rest of the ascent was simple and enjoyable, though. (Unfortunately, my phone had broken by this point in the climb, so I couldn't access the photos I'd taken up to that point. huhu. I recently pulled a few pictures from my Facebook account. At the top. 🏔 By the time I reached the summit, I could hardly breathe for the excitement. What unfolded before my eyes astounded me with its splendor. The view from the peak of the mountain is magnificent. The only thing I could see were the undulating slopes of this enormous mountain. Wow, look at that beautiful scenery! Nothing but the wind and the hush of these regal mountains is audible to me. It's safe to say that everyone there was star-struck. There was comfort for me there. It seemed as if the mountains and my heart were singing together. Above me, the clouds seemed to be saying, "I told you, you would be in awe of the vista," as if I were looking down on a basin. I invest roughly 30 minutes. Or perhaps even more than just taking in the scenery from above. As difficult as the ascent was, it was well worth it. The opportunity to return here is one I would take ten times over. My students were beaming as I observed them. As we descended the mountain, I had no doubt that they would have grown as people and been better for the experience. That an uncharted mountain was made available to me makes me one of the fortunate people alive. I went on a journey that will live with me forever. I am glad that I answered the call of this mountain. My class had a fantastic time together, and we all bonded as a result of our shared experience. I'm glad I could impart some of my mountain enthusiasm upon them. Another sobering encounter with these towering peaks.

At 'Tigbawan' Beach, You Can Find Seashells And Sea Urchins During Low Tide Hi there, everyone! There is no way to know what the day will bring. We couldn't dispute that there are days when we've thought about what to do in great detail and made all the necessary preparations, but then time throws a curveball and provides us with something completely different and exciting to accomplish. And that's how our Saturday went down. Last week's sunny and pleasant conditions inspired us to set in motion the two-day, one-night island getaway that was originally planned for this coming weekend. The entire night of Friday, it poured. The rain had ceased by Saturday morning, but there was still no indication that Mr. Sun would be making an early appearance. Our island getaway was canceled and we were left with no other options. In the aftermath of our postponed vacation, I found my energy levels to be low. This weekend, I had planned to go for a run on the island. I was filled with boundless enthusiasm and boundless energy for the rest of the week thanks to this idea. Now that it had arrived, I felt drained. My husband had observed a change in my demeanor and offered some suggestions to brighten my day. Well, it's not an island, but it's a beach, so why don't we go there?" he suggested. It was low tide, according to the calendar he checked. He went on, "Since it's low tide today, let's select some shells on the beach; we'll bring some "baon" rice with us; let's dine there; and when high tide arrives, we can go swimming!" It put a smile on my face just thinking about it. I didn't realize until last weekend that the mere mention of the word "beach" made my mood lighten. We prepared by collecting a few essentials and some food, and then we set off for the shore. We rode our motorcycles for almost an hour to get to Tigbawan Beach. Low tide on Tigbawan's beach, as shown in the image. A great place to find shells and other sea life is at Tigbawan Beach. Tigbawan's sea floor is covered with seaweeds, pebbles, and corals at low tide, providing shelter for shellfish and other marine life. However, a small section of Tigbawan beach does feature sand. There is nothing except seaweed on the remainder of it. You can still go swimming, but I wouldn't call it a particularly enjoyable experience. People typically don't go there to swim, but rather to collect shells. When we finally made it to the beach, it was well after 2 o'clock and the tide was quite low. Okay, here's a guess: Suddenly, the sky cleared, and a brilliant sun beamed down. *Tsk. What if we had gone to the island instead? Then again, I guess I should "enjoy the moment" now that we've here. After dumping our belongings on the rocks, we set out on foot to find shells. This wasn't my first time shelling; when I was a kid, my parents took me and my siblings to the ocean once a quarter to gather shells for a family feast. (It's a cherished memory from my youth.) Did you know that no matter how fresh the sea shells are, they will never taste as good as the ones you gather yourself off the ocean floor and turn into a delicious soup? In my opinion, the seashells you carefully selected have a better flavor. In order to safely store my shell collection, I took a plastic bag along. This time, the seafloor was quite kind to us, as we discovered a plethora of shells. There were periods of time when shells were few and difficult to get. I was intently scanning the sand and shells for the best finds. To get a better look at the lake, I leaned over. That's pretty serious, huh? I stayed on foot and headed towards seaweed-rich areas, where I expected to find many shells. There's no way I could fit that much inside my container. Even though I'm no expert, I had so much fun collecting shells this time that I could easily fill a bucket if nobody stopped me. Haha . lol. Unfortunately, there weren't any crabs to choose. My husband and I go off in different ways to search for shells. Each of us took turns holding our infant. The seafloor was a lot of fun for my infant as well, who enjoyed strolling about and exploring. My husband brought home a bounty of sea urchins (swaki) while I stocked up on " sikad-sikad" shells. We ate our fresh sea urchins and rice out to the side after we had enough catch. Sea urchins were a hit once we opened them and doused them in vinegar. We stuffed ourselves silly and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The realization hit me harder when I had to work for my meal. The seascape was so stunning that I had to capture it on camera as well. Not only did I have a wonderful day with my family while shell-collecting, but we also shared a truly special moment together. Our time here was not expensive, but it was well spent. If I don't have any plans for the upcoming weekend, I'd be happy to do this then, and I wouldn't mind having a few more unscheduled weekends like this one. The time I spent collecting shells deepened my appreciation for the wonder and generosity of the natural world. It's true that you reap what you sow, so to speak, in this life. Finally, remember to take pleasure in the present now, as tomorrow is never guaranteed.
