A New Dawn
Does it really cost so much?
The past days she’d been doing so well with everything, and she glowed differently! She thought it would be the start of something great, like new beginnings without her fears keeping her walled in. She didn’t have anything to feel down for. And she so hoped it would stay like that for some time.
But she was mistaken, she already knew what’s in store for her that moment. Because all over again, she was the one in the wrong, it’s her that’s making it hard for everyone. She was again put to blame. Another dose of poison she was forced to take in.
She was once more put in between. She was like a prisoner, chained to a string which strangles her either way: holding on or letting go. But do you know that holding on to it more does much damage than just letting it all go? In the end, she knew what she wants, but she knew rushing into things this early might break her.
She lay awake on her bed, just staring blankly at the ceiling. She let her hand slide through the covers and find it too cold. Another morning waking up alone. She rose up almost dragging herself and half-ass fixed the crumpled sheets. She then went down the kitchen to have her usual morning coffee.
The weather is cold and cloudy today. Even the wind is strong. And just like her in the inside, the muzzy emotions keeps on wreaking havoc. She already knew what to do, that is to keep silent, delve deep into her being to keep everything in order and to pacify her emotions that’s getting chaotic.
She built walls again, in order for her beast to not wound her person or any other.
She knew this will pass. And tomorrow she’ll rise up again with a new dawn awaiting.
It’s the Easter holidays and while she prefers staying at home, a trip to their hometown might be a better idea, while she’s taking a break connecting with people from the internet or rather the weird wide world according to Pich, an online friend. Hahaha.
Let’s see how it goes, but after the holidays, ‘kay? The scheduled travel will be Tuesday, she just hopes she won’t be edgy when that time comes. She gets anxious, coz it’s a 6 hour drive after all. Haha.
