My first time to France was spectacular but when most think of France the first thing that comes to mind is the Eiffel Tower and yes while that is memorable so are the landscapes and villas of southern France oh and the wine and food of course.
We stayed in a small village located in Bergerac, Dordogne where we rented a small castle in the shape of a Maltese Cross
My room was perfect with a stunning view perfect for a princess (even a Spice Queen)
The markets were fabulous filled with fresh fruits, flowers and meats everywhere
These very old and yet quaint villages are just marvelous to wander around without any threats to your safety
And what would a day be if you didn't end up cooking what you purchased at the market that morning?
We then traveled into a Mid Evil town that was just delightful
and of course the food and more food........ along with wine tastings
And then off to the vineyards
And of course we had to pick up just a little for our train trip to Paris
But before we left for Paris we still had much more to see of this region
Like the Mid Evil jail that was barely still standing
And another village......that had many street performers and local foods
We then traveled to what is now a bird sanctuary but was once the home of a great performer and humanitarian named Josephine Baker, if you have time you should read about her tragic ending.
And saw a few more castles....
We then had a chef come along and teach us the fine art of French cooking.......
And the King (my father) addressing his peasants (children) before our next adventure to Paris.
i never visit france but looking from your eyes its look more beautiful your picture is nice which share the beauty of france
