Hello math lovers. This is Herbert once again. This time I'm going to provide shortcuts in mathematics that will boost your maths skills.
I'm finding the sum of the nth natural number= n(n+1)/2. Eg. Find the sum of the first 10 natural numbers.=10(10+1)/2=110/2 =55.
In finding the square of a number=a²(2ab)b². Let's take an example to clear the doubts. Eg.ab²,let a be 2 and b be 5
Find 25² = first you separate the numbers.... 2___5.
Square them individually.2²___5²
U will get 4 and 25 respectively.
Now,multiply 2ab = 2x2x5 u will get 20. Now,. Align your answers this way,...... 425
20. And add. U will get 625.
Hence the square of 25 is 625.
Finding the sum of the first nth odd and even numbers. The formula for finding the sum of the nth even numbers is n(n+1). Where n is the ordinal. So let's try an example to clear the doubts. Find the sum of the first 20 even numbers. Here, it will be....20(20+1)=20x21=420. You can check it and see if it's correct by adding the even numbers upp to 420 which is stressful right. Now to find the sum of the first n odd numbers,n² or nxn. Let's take an example. Find the sum of the first 11 odd numbers. Here,....11 x 11 or 11²= 121. Here are some formulas to help in quantitative reasoning. I assure you will be better using some of these formulas. I will be back again to give you some shortcuts in maths.
I hope this article will help effectively in the math reasoning skills of individuals. Thank you for your time.

These shortcuts do make maths a lot faster and simplified indeed of always following the first principle. I hope to see more from you. Thanks
