One Of My Youth Outing!

Everyone needs some time to rest and some other day to relax. As young people we also need a little more time to recess and have vacations. In order to be relieved and get out from stressful experiences and to restart a new positivity to continue a daily life. Sometimes, other people think that young people are just a burden and a headache in society.

But a wise man and an influential person will also said, that young people are the hope of the nation and the builder to make a righteous world. That's what innocent people need to hear with good insight, not about criticism and negative conclusions about the future.

Outing with Youth Org. in our church

Let me tell you about our young people's retreat at Kamanga resort last year 2019. Not to boost the church but to make other young teenagers be inspired with us. Those moments we've spent together are very meaningful and priceless moments. Every memory of the outing is a memorable day for all of us. The smiles and happiness are written on our faces. It was a very exciting day. It was only a girls young people outing, none of the young people boys were there with us, just the leaders from our church. Boys are not allowed that time so that we have some privacy and become comfortable with our conversations.

The long road for our trip to travel from our place to the resort we want to go was full of beautiful views. It was a distant ride with many surprises and enjoyment everytime we saw those wonderful creations of God. We also encountered some circumstances while we were on our way, but still the safe trip and the long wait was worth it. That was our first time traveling from a far away land to which the outing was held. Many expectations turn into disappointments, yet the fellowship of one another was still successful and valuable. The overnight sleep was also being done and even though the rains came we haven't planned to undo the fellowship.

No matter what and how much trials challenge us, the continuation of the program was fulfilled. The lesson I've caught about it is that we must be still and remain strong despite hardships and problems that oppose our way. Somehow we failed but stand firm because you're not alone.

God is with you even in the darkest and stormy season of your life. I also learned a lot of important things from the outing. I was then blessed and grateful at Kamanga place with those people who always encouraged me to fight and continue life. Every scenario that happened was one of those unforgettable footprints of the resort.

Refreshing atmosphere around the corner of the place was very relaxing. We do swimming and play some games at the pool. So much fun, because we played music and danced while enjoying the day with thanksgiving from the heart. Each of us felt the warmth of a vacation day like there is no tomorrow. Means that the opportunity to be there and being part of that pleasure trip was grabbed.

We also take many photos from the view as much as we can. It will always be remembered and never forgotten even when the old ages arrive. Becoming a young person is a blessing to us, for we only live just once in a lifetime.

Embracing the cold winter that touches our skins makes everybody trembled. So then, we burned fires and wear overwarm jackets. The weather feels like we're in korea! We also shared our dreams and goals in life. Writing in the list of "Love your selfie" help us to motivate ourselves and give us a true value as young teenagers in this generation. And the most precious thing that takes place was when the elders from the church give their advices and payers for us. Not to condemn our lives but to discourage evil deeds in life. Their advices persuaded everyone to dream bigger and enjoy life as a young people.

Well then, I was impressed every time I remembered the past memories that happened in my life. That Kamanga outing was one of the greatest experiences I've been through in this life. Until the day I've become successful it will always remain in my heart. Today and maybe tomorrow will become memories, at least I was a part of it.

Kofi Atta Annan said, “Have confidence in the young people, give them a chance, and they will surprise you”. It would mean that we, as young teenagers, have different purposes to live and worth believing in. We can be a good influence to others and become a better version of this generation.
