Job interview Today I finally had my job interview at the supreme court. I'm no judge, no lawyer, I applied for a technical support job. So, today I showed up, on time. A bit of initial nervousness quickly faded away and I think I nailed it. We (me and the three people that were interviewing me) fell into this conversation and soon my half hour was over, but we kept on discussing work, hobbies, travels, ... Good morning dear friends We are preparing to go to the sea side for a few days. We reserved a room already and yesterday my Lili (5) helped me to clean the car, my dear N packed. In the night there was a nasty surprise. Lili kept on waking up and she was very hot. As I took her temperature it was obvious something was well off. Oh, wow! It was completely sunny a minute ago, then the temperature dropped, it started picking up winds and now, 2 minutes later, it seems it might start to hail down! Good evening from my, well our, vacation We arrived in Lucija before midday, so we were early to get to our room. We went to a store, got some provosions and then checked in. We immediately (almost) left for the beach and only returned in the evening. Dinner and the next plan is to go watch the Perseides. It should be a true meteor shower show tonight, so yippie! An unexpected visitor After a good lunch I sat down on the balcony, lit up a cigarette and stared at the flowers and generaly observed my surroundings. I got an unexpected visit from a swallowtail butterfly. A completely fresh specimen, it's wings complete, unharmed. The scales of the butterfly wing get damaged quickly, that in mind this was a really nice visit. It even stuck around for the photoshoot. #butterfly #nature@home #slovenia #visitor

Some proper food for a daytrip to the sea side Tomorrow we're heading to the sea side for a full day swimming, bathing, snorkeling excursion. We wanted to be completely independant. Now it's 00:40 and it seems the plan shifted a bit. I was so into cooking, I forgot about the time. Made french salad, turkey breast stakes, some rice, boiled a few extra eggs. The 'wierd' chilly plant About 6 years ago a friend and a coworker of mine tryed planting some chilly plants indoors. He was testing if they would grow under (then) a new kind of LED lighting. The result was not as good as he has hoped. The plants became stemmy and not really thriving, so he wanted to get rid of them and I could not allow that. Spent the second day on the phone to AJPES (where you register/unregister/change firm), ZZZS (national health insurance), GZS (national board of commerce?), CSD (national social services office), and some more. I went to the national health insurance in oreson actually, countles phonecalls, emails, online forms, ... I'm wasted and still it looks like it is not over yet. I just filed the last papers over the net and it's 22:58. I screwed up big time.

Only 13 days to full term. Soon we will be welcoming a new member to our family, a boy. We still have not decided on a name yet. I came up with the idea of naming him Mars, and that was a problem, since we quiclky decided we would not name him something he would be teased by all life. A walk, flowers, kindness and joy As we walked from the pool, where my little Lili(5) took a swimming course I noticed this flower garden in front of an appartment building. The last of the season This year the strawberries started up in a very promissing way. Last year all we got was a lot of green, leaves. This year it started in full bloom.
